What a very fun and informative review. If I hadn't just bought the tribit stormbox speaker, I'd grab a motion plus for sure. The anker Icon Mini isn't a bad little speaker either. I really love how anker speakers can be paired for stereo sound. Anker seems to have good customer service as well. I'll keep any anker speakers in my mind for the future. I already have more bluetooth speakers then I really need. They are fun to check out though.

I've been debating for nearly a week to possibly purchase this speaker. I have a JBL flip 5 currently and it sounds good but it only has a mono speaker, im definitely going to purchase this now!

Seems like the bass doesn't drop very low but maybe around 90hz it's really loud. I really wonder what it would sound like at work on my tool box. So thankful for all of the youtube reviews, thanks for spending the time to share your review!

Right out the box this speaker sounds dope. After messing with the EQ it now sounds insanely good. Dare I say the Bluetooth speaker of 2019. Do yourself a favor and cop this right quick. Or better yet wait til it goes sale, which it does periodically.

Passive radiator is not counted as a speaker, it's similar in function as a port in a baffle to boost bass. It sounds good with the bass up on the eq because at flat setting the mid and highs are too overbearing and piercing.

About to pick up one of these. I accidentally dropped a Anker Soundcore 2 out of the 13th story of a building, and left it there for a week in the sun and rain. When I finally found out where it went and went down to turn it on... It was still in one piece, and "boop boop boop" turned right on. You could see where it hit on the corner, but the rubber must have just made it bounce because the mark was able to rub off with a little work. That was over a year ago now, and the thing has still been running strong for 3 years total now. It is still what I am using to listen to music today. The battery life on the soundcore 2 is also completely insane. Looking forward to this upgrade this time around. I'm starting to get a few Bluetooth glitches from it at this point, but overall it was a great investment. If you are looking for a tank go for the soundcore 2... I have a feeling I'll like this one even more.

Dude - 1st time seeing your channel. You have such a great way and energy about you. I really liked it. Probably gonna buy this speaker as your the 2nd person raving about it. I bought two Bose micro soundlink speakers and really don't like them at all. I dunno what the fuss was about them. I was just looking for clarity really...and they sucked. Also consider the Soundcore Rave Neo - it's a 50 watt speaker with lights and a bigger battery for the same price as the Motion Plus. It's only sold at Walmart though, so check their website first if you can pick one up in your area.

Good review, I bought one, very happy with it and agree with your comments. Sound fills the room, doesn't stay in the box, lovely clear vocals, tuneful bass. Violins, piano sound clear and natural. It's also very musical, it makes you want to tap your feet, sway, get up and dance. Some speakers can't convey the joy of music - this one does!

Can you use this in your living room to connect it to your TV and watch movies?

I bought one of these and realized it didn't have a strap to tie it to a bag as I was going to use it for kayaking, so I ordered an Anker Soundcore Flare+ (same price btw), I got both of them in, tried them out and I honestly like the Flare + better, Its 360 sound. The Motion+ does have SLIGHTLY more bass but the Flare+ is is overall better sound, plus you has the hand strap, music syncing LED base, and a usb port to plug your phone in and charge.

Hey I've watched several of your videos and really enjoy your channel. So is the Soundcore motion plus still your favorite portable speaker? Or have you found something with better sound quality? I'm in the market for a new portable speaker I can use with a portable projector for home theater use, as well as movies in the back yard, or the park. Any thoughts on which one to use? It needs to be portable to take on the go though.

I think I'm going to get one..btw play it on max volume and see what kinda playtime you get I just hope this could last 8 hours at work with the volume at least 75%😁

Did you like the sound quality? What kind of music you listen frequently?

I just bought the Motion+ for the handlebar mount of my motorcycle (based on this review). I previously had a JBL Charge 4 mounted there. But the bass goes straight out the sides, which is no good for outdoors, especially on a bike. I need the bass to come straight at me from the front. So, the Soundcore Motion+ will arrive in a few days from Amazon. I'll let you know if it's a winner.

I just got this speaker today and all l can say is just wow 🤩. Maybe the last speaker u will ever need. Worth every penny!

There is 2 dome tweeters, 2 mid/woofers, and 2 passive radiators (one in the front and one in the back). If it did not have one in the back then the cabinet would be open-air and the speaker would not be IPX7 rated (totally waterproof); water would just seep in through the back port (a second passive radiator seals of the the backside of the cabinet). Hey, by the way, what issues did the firmware fix; do you know? Thanks bro.

Hey dude. Just wondering; how does this sound compared to the aomais go mini? I've got two mini's and if I need an upgrade, I'd probably go for two of the motion +'s. Those full range drivers look smaller that the go mini's.

Had one for a couple of weeks. Blows away the Flip 4 or 5 I was thinking about. Discrete tweeters and the custom EQ make this a killer. But don't forget it has Apt-X which also makes a noticeable difference for devices that support it. (Like a Pixel 2) Seriously thinking about another to pair in stereo. Other channels say the stereo pairing works really well.

You have to buy another one. I have 2 . the speaker already sounds good as one but wait'll you hear it in Stereo it's incredible . For the cost of the speaker and how small they are they really sound awesome. But definitely get to for stereo that's where they really shein

@@wed265 I knew at least 6 months ago that I would eventually get this bad boy. I ordered last night @ Amazon, with a $30 OFF voucher. Seems I have made it a hobby to collect bluetooth speakers. This one will get a spot on the top shelf, I'm sure. I love the old school style grille and the fact you can clearly see the speakers in action. I'll take that over flashing colour changing lights ALL DAY

Amazing review! Two questions: Does this have noticeably videos sound lag? And does it wound good still at low volume? I'm just looking for a great sounding Bluetooth speaker that sounds great on low because I watch videos only on my phone with the Bluetooth speaker a foot and a half away from me.

It sounds great at low volumes, the sound is very well balanced. There is absolutely no lag in the audio when watching videos.
