I couldn't see it to begin with either but his silhouette got stronger and stronger with each time the lights flicked off. Funny that the hand you expected put u into darkness. That doll was definitely scarier than the demon tho lol

To me it’s not dedication cuz it wasn’t a pyschological torture to me at all tbh I miss nightmares very much as it ended when I was 12 years old after 6 years I really missed nightmares so much I was trying to experience actual fear through horror movies at night with no lights on in my room even experienced best horror games with no lights on either and yet it doesn’t affect me very much I play this games shown in the vid before and it was actually quite an annoying experience rather than fear experience cuz honestly I was expecting proper horror jumpscares and yet the best game dev can do is just add screen zoom in with red screen background and a stupid noise of stupid wide eyes fat face doll cunt then I got annoyed even more about lighten up the candles constantly just cuz the fire kept disappearing everytime the red screen outside the building appeared constantly like bro plz stop this shit and let me finish my fcking tasks and the rest of the game is just me walking around with my dumbass trying to figure out what’s the right door cuz I’m special ed deaf kid and that took me over 10 mins trying to find the right door

I used to work for a security company and we had to patrol the grounds of a MASSIVE old people's home as kids would break in and get up to "mischief". We also had the keys and had to enter several times. The place smelled awful, was cold and had pictures of all the former residents on the doors of each room. It was so creepy, the hairs on my neck would stand up every time I went there. So creepy.

I love how fooster always put himself in the characters' shoes while playing horror games.

This is straight from the USSR. I lived in such a house too. Here is a very, very disturbing story, that happened to me and a friend of mine, that reminds me on that. Me and my friend, we were about 8 years old and we were heading home from school, but the bus didn't come, which was a usual thing in the USSR. So we decided to walk home, which was a long way. It was May, so it was pretty hot outside. We stoped at an old womans house and asked her if she could give us some water. She was very friendly and brought cold water. Then she asked us if we wanted to visit her, she lived alone. She then said that her attic is full of dolls, because her daughter is grown up and asked if we like to see them and play with them. My friend was all for it and I also wanted to go, but then she said, she also has Barbies up there. Well we didn't have Barbies in USSR, we only knew about them from comercials and if her daughter was an aduld, this had be old Barbies. It wasn't possible at all. I said no, but my friend wanted to go and we argued a lot. The woman told us to hurry up. I still didn't wanted to go inside her house and finally I could convince my friend to stay with me. We made it home savely. When I was 10 we moved to Germany and arround my 18th birthday I watched a crime series and there it was: this house and the old woman. I only recognised it, because of the front door. But the old lady didn't change a lot. She and her son lured children into their house. They preferred two girls of the age between 6 to 12. They then killed one of the girls and the other one had to cut the corpse in small pieces. When the work was done, they killed the other one. They ate the children. This only came out, because one girl could escape, but she sadly died as her injuries were severe. So yes this happened to me and my friend. As I have no contact to her since we were 12 or so, I really don't know if she knows about this old woman. But I have managed to save our lives. And you can look this acually up. It was near St. Petersburg. We were 8 years old in 1991. I can talk about it, because I will turn 40, I had enough time to realise that I saved our lives, thanks to my parents, who told me to be sceptical to strangers, even to an old lady.

This was a very special one. A lot of times, when horror devs from Russia (or any non-Western country, for that matter) use horror, they'll oftentimes use things that are scary in one culture, but are maybe just odd in another. This one, however? This one didn't rely on that. It MASTERED pacing for the first 3/4 of the playthrough. Maybe it went a little too heavy in the last portion, but by and large it nailed proper pacing, and creating peaks and troughs of confidence and helplessness that horror requires. This was a great one.

N4BA (the dev) is really really good at pacing and atmosphere. They did 9 child’s street and wrong floor (wrong floor has same enemy model) and were both horrifying, wrong floor a little more so than 9 child’s imo

I was born in a post-Soviet country in 90s and when I saw this horror I thought that there was something familiar in it, as it turned out I remembered that I was born and grew up until I was 4 years old in exactly the same apartment.... As a child, I never saw what was in the room on the left (my mother for some reason did not let me there, it was locked).

The moment you started talking, and playing, I instantly liked ya. That is an instant sub haha. I've seen other videos of this game, and it is creepy as all hell, even just watching it. I do feel like it lost steam during those final moments though. But everything leading up to it was brilliant.

It had that creepy effect, even with the typical jump scares, they made it where it was actually scary. Usually with jump scares my body would just react and jump voluntary but I move on not feeling creeped by it, this did it. Well made game.

My 7 year old was so happy you've uploaded a scary one that she kept yelling at her mom this morning "Foostah! Foostah!". We're Romanian and "foostah" sounds like "fusta" in Romanian, which means "dress". Her mum went nuts for half an hour trying to figure out what dress she wanted to wear for school.

I think you and IGP would have a lot of fun playing horror games together.

This was freaky! The claustrophobic feeling is just palpable!

the ending seems bittersweet though. Since as we exit the front door it’s shaded by the same red hue that accompanies the “demon realm”. Wouldn’t that mean we’re just stuck there like the others and we really did get axed in the head at some point when we turned our backs?

And it alao make sense that halfway of the game. He can see all dead bodies and spirit possessing and add the others (dead) who walked right to him. Its like he is already dead too and stuck t that realm of spirits

that thing at 30:55... when I played this I have NEVER felt every hair on my head stand up like that! the jump scares don't come when you expect them to and that makes this so much more terrifying

yeah i'm at 8:59 & i've paused twice lmao edit: lmaooo just had to pause again less than a min later bc there was a jumpscare & i screamed & gave myself a leg cramp from tensing up so hard. havent been that startled in years 😂

It's amazing how watching your playthroughs are genuinely more entertaining and more accessible than going to see any movie in any theatre, and also because no production company in the world would ever produce such a movie as this video game is, for no theatre that would never willingly play this for any audiences, only strengthens the possibility that society is missing an entire category of entertainment industry? Fooster, I think KZread is too small a platform for your content, you should be something bigger than this, and if my feelings be true, so does the world need it too!

i watched channels like this before i played the game so i was prepared for all the jump scares but even the big guy behind me as i collected the bolt cutters still gets me.

doesnt happen often that I get scared when watching a horror game playthrough but this one is so claustrophobic and nerve wracking. I dont think I would've been able to play this through man

This one was next level. You mentioned that you were unsure how it was coming across on our end at one point but don't worry, we were right there with you lol kudos for sticking through to the end. I'd have to say this was one of the best horror games I've seen to have so much going on in such little time but also not feeling crammed with jump scares. Anyway keep it up man, love the not so over-the-top content.

I don't know if anyone else can relate to this, but this sums up pretty visually and accurately what depression and anxiety feels like inside. It is hard to explain.

There are a bunch of lets plays of this and they're all 40+ minutes. Could you really beat this in 15 minutes without purposefully speed running it? Fooster's pace seemed realistic and natural.

I don’t understand how people play horror games, when I try I immerse so much that I can’t move out of fear, I just can’t take it. That first jump scare with the doll I literally felt like I dissociated from my body for a second

This is the first time I've seen this kind of videos som one plays a horror game till the end. I really enjoyed it from the beginning to end. If I played it by myself it would no way be so full of spooks plus joys. Thank u so much. Best experience for me ever. Now am gonna subscribe u to see more videos like this. 👍
