'Make waves' has to be my favourite part of this rebrand. As someone from the UK I had no clue what a clipper was before this but they got the branding and messaging on point. The little details are insane like the North on the compass pointing to the N in Angeles. Great video really interesting seeing it from a marketing perspective rather than just from a fans point of view. Gave you a sub as well. Hope your channel grows. Content is great!

I appreciate the support and the kind words. I 100% agree with you! Leaning into the ship identity is huge for their future as a brand!

The Clippers did great with this rebrand. The only small knock I have for the logo is that the ship itself or the C should’ve been red because I feel that they blend in too much and especially the ship being red would’ve provided some contrast. Otherwise, I’d rate the logo at a 9/10. My small knock on the uniforms is with the number font, it looks a little too basic but could’ve been much worse. The navy blue uniforms with the red Clippers font I think should’ve been a slightly brighter shade of red to make it stand out a little more, so overall with uniforms I’d give them an 8/10

I like the jerseys and the secondary logo a lot. Not into the boat logo... Looks like a cruise ship because of the perspective. Some mentioned a submarine because of the compass. Also it's a totally different C than in the Clip script. Oh well. I guess I would have tried to get the clipper sails more prominent/lees confusing. I agree with you on the Jazz jerseys... Ugh. I love their old NOLA jazz style color throwback ones...

I could see a concern with the boat logo. Having two different scripts is not an issue. It’s often needed for a brand, though, unless the primary one is a standard font with little frill, which the script is not. Yeah, the Jazz had a lot of great opportunity and whiffed on their rebrand for sure.

A Clipper is a boat though. Look at the sails. Cruise ships don't have sails.
