This is the ergo keyboard that you NEED to buy. Neo Ergo review!
Ғылым және технология
At this point I can't sing the praises for Qwertykeys and Neo keyboards enough. They've put out banger after banger, and the Neo Ergo is no different. Starting at only $130 for an extremely high quality board with all the "usual" Quality of Life features like magnetic connectors, screwless assembly, yada yada, this is honestly a NO BRAINER. Check it out below and get $10 off if you order now through June 18th!!!

I find it weird that other reviewer's barely mention the "ergo" part of this keyboard, ie talking about RSI and comfort. Thanks for covering that in your review

HAHA Thanks for watching at 1am!!!
1:10 I don’t wanna be that guy, but the TGR Alice isn’t tented.

It's funny how the ergo layout gets its name from the TGR board, and everyone forgets that the Alice was inspired by the Linworks EM7 (later EM8 which was tented, I believe).
how does the plateless vs with plate compare, in terms of feel? was wondering if there's a more significant difference or less since the PCB comes in 2 pieces
Thank you for this amazing video dad

Wheres the murakami desk mat from?
It’s always a good day when maker mods drops a video
1:12 Isn't the Alice just angled but not tented? Neo ergo is more like the Type K with the tenting and angle
did you include any plate foam or others in the typing tests?
have you tried a no foam config yet
Idk if it was spring crunch or what but that enter key sounded like clicky switches lol
love to build a PC and not realize there isn't a keyboard in there
That's a bold choice to map the right shift and arrow keys as you have. I think most people would have used a traditional inverted-T and then have the shift to the right. Or, not have an arrow cluster and set up the keys as Shift, Function, Control, and Alt. Personally, I'd probably do the latter, and then map arrows on a layer -- maybe [ ; ' / like on HHKB

yeah im just going with no arrows and hhkb style, awesome this board lets you build that zone in many ways

Good thing I don't use the right shift

Looking at other builds I see the arrow cluster as an inverted T, so it's definitely not a limitation of the pcb. That would've been a dealbreaker for me.

I would leave the right shift in the up arrow position but just use mod-tap to enable both up arrow and right shift functionality on it. Can reserve the rightmost 1u as a Fn key or something else.
so the rgb defusers are supposed to be mounted between plate and pcb so they dont poke out as far as

In other reviewers' videos, NEO has commented that placing the diffusers on top or below the board is fine either way
Would buy it instantly if there was some magnetic switch compatibility with the PCB! That keyboard is really impressive for the price by the way. Nice to hear that there are some cheaper options out there.
Whats color??
Never thought about how an ergo board would work for me, but good to see a nice one is so accessible (constructive criticisms aside)
Thank you for not putting the up arrow left of the right shift
how did you like those Doom switches though?! I've been eyeing them for a while now
Dude, I look forward to how you're gonna slide in and pun the like button. Highlights of my day every time.
Cool vid! How did you change the right shift location? only thing keeping me from getting

Map the key in via. Looks like he switched R-shift and Up arrow
Does this keyboard have the "tape mod" sound? I hope not.

What's wrong with the tape mod sound?
You should do a video on the new BSUN strawberry cheesecake :)
how's the anno? i have qk80 and the anno is awful, and in the mean time the cycle8 is the best anno i ever had, wondering if the neo ergo's anno is more lean on the good side or the worse side
Love how you just laugh at your own jokes
short, sweet and informative. Just like you bb.
Finally
haha, need to buy? it's already on order
There's almost no difference in sound between all 3 configurations.

Probably because they're all foamed up which made it pointless

I heart a little bit but yeah, the foams messes it up. Clackiest to thockiest is plateless>carbon fiber>fr4 which checks out!
@noshut

imo FR4 sounds trash in almost every board to me. CF sounded decent, toss up between that and the plateless
5:18 Well.. maybe because you're not supposed to put the shift key on the left of the top arrow ^^ Go check the picture of different layouts in the neo ergo folder in the qwertykeys notion :)

He put it there because he was hitting the up arrow when he meant to hit the right shift key.
Imagine if hobbyist/enthusiast custom keyboards had input latency like a basic EVGA Z15, simple media controls like a volume/mute knob, a bios mode, USB passthrough and an optional PCB for north facing LEDs to enable shinethrough OEM keycaps. Then maybe such keyboards would be relevant to gaming. Love your videos, this is a scene roast. They should listen to you about this stuff.
