Can we all just take a moment to enjoy Jonathan’s content lately? Like bruh, no lie your simple videos tell a entire story and the fact you add in these fun delicious meals really adds onto your craft. Keep it up dude hope you make it home safe!

I'm not trying to be rude here even knowing it will sound like it, but literally every "van life" or camping channel has the exact same formula that they just copy from OGs. Lets not act like making meals is some ground breaking addition when its the most generic part of every video like this....

@terminal3 I never said he wasn't...? Out of everything Jonathan does, I just found it weird that adding food to the video is what is being upvoted and nothing about his editing, upgrades, etc.

Trust your gut, if the situation doesn't feel right, move on. Thanks for sharing.
PERFECT explanation of the loneliness/sadness of being alone in beauty and AWE. It's not depressing, it just IS. You are very wise young man. Fix your van up with heat etc, and get back out there! hugs from Ontario Canada

That "loneliness" would not be such a problem with me because I would have my cats and my TPE silicone companion doll Darvulia with me. Humans just aren't that fun anymore to interact with.
Your intuition was alerting you to what could be danger. And we should ALWAYS listen to our inner voice! I'm glad you decided to move! I enjoy your channel very much and look forward to your camper enhancements!
Looking forward to seeing the camper fully functional! Wish I could give you a hand, if you have any 12v questions let me know, I've been working on cars/trailers/trucks for 10+ years.
I hooked up my mr buddy heater toa 20lb tank. It last over 2 weeks now. Just need the 8-10 hose
FOLLOW your instincts! If something doesn't feel right, move! We were traveling in a camper, pulled over by a sm lake after traveling all day. Was getting ready to make dinner, I did NOT see or hear anybody, but, had an uneasy feeling. We had a 2 yr. old, also. I told my husband we had to move, he was tired from the drive, but, he agreed to move. Better to be safe than sorry!

I hear you on that I don't know if it's divine inspiration or some sixth sense that we possess I've got myself away from situations that just something didn't feel right sure enough there was something negative after the fact I've heard it too many times from Friends read different things that there is something to it.
I don't blame the mouse because you're good people to hang out with 😊 Thanks for another great experience ❤️
Get that mouse issue resolved - NOW!!!!! They will total your truck. Good first gen. Tundras are hard to replace.
I lived in my car for 4 months when I decided to move to western montana and I spent a great majority of my time in the campground at the beginning of your video. Nostalgic.
You may be alone but you’ve got lots of folks with you to. Thank you.

I do a lot of solo travel/camping. The way I see it, it's better to just get out there and experience it when and while you have the chance. Better than just sitting around waiting for a friend who might just have a limited window. You will Always meet new people on your adventures.

I can’t believe he isn’t there already…
Loved that he addressed what’s going in the beginning of the video!
Mice are not nice! Definitely need to get that problem taken care of.
Check out a Dickinson Newport propane heater. They are being installed in Kimbo campers and can be seen on UTUBE. I would buy one. A little pricey though.
I've been subscribed for awhile and have watched a lot of your videos and you don't seem to be the type who spooks easily. I'd say your instincts served you well. First rule of the outdoors, if it seems sketchy, bail.
Nice "last" meal dude. Take us along for the new house and rebuild tour. :)
Another great video J! Loved your introspection on lonely vs. alone. I think too few of us spend enough time alone to silence the outside with sounds of others and listen to ourselves now and then. It's good to have deep thoughts just not to fall too deep into your thoughts. Hope the move goes well and looking forward to the next one. Jules 🙂

@@007nadineL Who exactly? LOL...my friend Jacob...you know, Jacob (you asked who exactly after all and I used 'too' not 'two'). He has said that he prefers not to be alone or without electronics as he gets bored with being by himself. I've suggested that he get outside and listen to nature as it's not at all boring.
Some beautiful country you are in.
Man, thanks for the shoutout!!! I appreciate it! We’re PBR fans 4 life! Take good care and keep them coming
Trust your senses. Beautiful scenery as always.
Get you a mice repeller from Amazon, hooks to your truck battery, it worked for me.
Better to trust your gut and relocate. Good luck prepping and refining your ride. Enjoy your film technique and music overlay. Used to travel solo years ago and you are right about the perspective and self awareness you develop when you don’t have to resonate and respond off of someone else. Having said that I do enjoy traveling with good friends. Have a safe winter journey.

Perhaps it is the sense of nature's grandeur and the feeling of our own smallness, frailty, and mortality that we feel in comparison, that evokes what feels like "loneliness". Perhaps this loneliness this, diminishment is what allows us to commune with something greater than ourselves and feel a sense of wonder and humility when encountering nature's wonders, beauty, expanse, and mystery. I too, have felt these feelings when alone with natural wonders on my car camping trips. Such feelings allow us to explore our own mysterious depths.
You should add some security camera around your camper just in case and with some led bar lights n have a monitor inside checking the cam view outside.
Good that you follow your instincts and leave a situation that feels sketchy. There's a reason you felt this way even if logic fails to be satisfied. Good move!
Love, Love, LOVE your videos! They are Beautiful and Artsy, yet Real, Down to Earth and Humorous 😄👍 It's Wonderful to be able to Enjoy the gorgeous places and "Experience" Traveling with you until the time wen I am able to get it there! 🤪 I'm not a good "Alone" person, but am working on it in baby steps just going to Local Events and Day Trips 😀 I've often wondered, watching the many Solo Van/Truck Lifers, if making your videos helps you to Be Alone, but not Feel so Alone? Like someone else said, it's kinda like we're WITH you! Thank You So Much for Sharing your Adventures! It's really nice for those of us "stuck" at home to get just a little Taste of Travel! 😊👍
Always trust your gut feeling John, if feel creeped out by someone get away from them. What you did was smart, anyways happy camping!
Awesome a new video!
Nice content as always. You did right by moving, always follow your instincts.
Me and my friends always bought PBR for our beer bong lol. Not bad beer.
From what I've seen, those gasoline heaters get gummed up with soot after a short amount of time. The only way to help with that is to run it on the highest setting or not at all. But that could still work for you since you handle the cold nights well.
I’m glad you can get projects done soon, then be set for winter! Get moved, get sorted then get back on the road!
It made the biggest difference in my camper when I put a rubberized rug down with a runner for easy cleaning. I have a propane heater that runs off the 12v circuit, plus a buddy heater, but I have a pop top with soft sides which is not ideal for winter. I like the fiberglass Bigfoot! Anyway, floor covering. Have fun! I look forward to your next adventure.
Whenever I look at beautiful natural scenery I get this warm feeling in my stomach that I could never pin down and I can only describe as nostalgic. I think what you shared at 12:00 really describes that feeling. That nostalgic feeling is the loneliness that we experience as a trade off of seeing beautiful scenery. It is the beautiful mix of loneliness and appreciation of nature.
Wow! One of your best videos Johnathan Loved the wildlife scenes The talk about loneliness The food The music to go along Truly talented Safe travels home~
when he opened the door after eating, that was amazing.
Amazing great Video Food looks Great as always, Fort Wayne Indiana last night [ this morning 6am ] 12 degrees f On and off snow past 4 days . Fuel, today 3.85 per gallon Reg.
Thank you for taking us along to see these beautiful vistas. Wow! Hello to Tessa.😊
Great trip, always enjoy your adventures. 🙂Look into a diesel heater. I don't know about a gasoline heater. Doesn't sound safe.Take care. Travel On.👍
Great Video; When I head out with my little trailer sometimes I'm alone too and I can related to your thoughts on the subject. I really appreciate the nature and the views and sometimes you don't always have someone to come along, but that's not a bad thing. Definitely a chance to get lost in your own thoughts, work out some things, and appreciate just how big the world is.
Stunning scenery! Wow! I could not believe what beautiful Fall colors were there. Thanks for that. Really enjoy your videos and look forward to seeing you again soon.🤩
Good call on the steakburgers. Beef without garlic is beef done wrong.
Safety first. Trust your instincts. The landscape shots were so beautiful. Happy Thanksgiving 🌲🌲🌲
Glad you're heading home to get your camper home done and yes to the pancake mix I use it and love it . Just make smaller cakes lol . That looks good I've never had apples on them. I bet it would be better with potatoes on top with sausage mmmmm.,. Omgoodness that beer reminds me of my father in law. RIP Pops
I'm just here to see Jonathon go through the roof portal 😆
At 16:05. Always trust your instincts.
Damn. Fantastic view of Yellowstone National Park. Keep it up, bro. LA will be watching your up coming videos.
“It’s wet up here…” Make a “sit-upon.” Old scouting hack - old plastic/lined table cloth cut to desired size. Pad inside with newspaper (from folded, not crumpled), cardboard or any thin padding. Whip lash together and voila, tush stays comfy and dry in any seating situation.
It doesn’t take going home to get your heat or refrigerator in order … your the one true living on the road lifer that I go to and enjoy immensely ! Now your moving into a home granted it may be a base camp it just upsets me ….. I live in my camper 24/7 on the 7th day it’s shower day at my parents house which is 55+ so I can’t stay overnight I lost my career at my local nuclear plant of 24 years due to cancer just waiting till I’m 55 next year to collect my pension if I’m alive … I’ve owned 4 homes cars motorcycles International travel now I’m in a a-liner camper box I don’t get paid like you for your content so with all due respect toughen it up and keep the contact living in your camper home … with love and respect Brian.
Oh Johnathan that looks amazing!! I also loved when you open the top of the truck . The view was spectacular
I love the views. Thank you for taking this this disabled person along! By the way MAV had a rat in his truck when he was in Mexico and the rat ate his own tail off. He shared that experience with his viewers and it was one of the most interesting things I think I saw on his channel. It took him a while to get the rat out of his truck cab. I hope you get your critter out soon.
Hope your new friend isnt a squirrel or a chipmunk. They like to nest behind the glovebox in the cab air filter. Save journey Jonathan. We miss you in Oregon. You werent around this summer for kayaking. We gotta do it next year for sure
I love the beautiful scenery! You're so down-to-earth and humble about your camping experiences. Enjoy your videos.

Just loved this whole video. Beautiful. Food looked good too. Thanks so much!
Safe travels home, Jonathan. Thanks for bringing us along. Can't wait to see what changes you make.
Beautiful cinematography in and around a great upbeat story. Thank you.
Can't wait to see the improvements. That is a great camper.
Bye to truck camping for a little while. Renovating a few things and making upgrades, moving to a new house ... my you're busy! I'm glad you're doing the upgrades instead of looking for something different. I really ❤ that little truck camper Big Foot! Now then, your Sammie and Fries looked yummy! !! Oh to be young and work off all those calories, lol. I do remember those times with such affection. A perfect ending to a beautiful camping trip. Be Well.
Been watching you since you got the camper. I highly recommend getting some solar installed with lithium, a good diesel heater, and a dometic fridge. You could camp for weeks or become a tiny house movement channel. You could really go big with your KZread. I've always dreamed of having the camper life and just traveling the country!
Another lovely video. Love love the scenic shots. Keep 'em coming!
Another terrific video. Your videos help remind me of the feelings of being on the road - the discoveries, the joys, and the loneliness. All the best with the new home and camper upgrades.
Love ya Jon , great video on you're Yellowstone adventures and the wonderful new camper , it will be great once you dial it in for sure.......You are a good kid...
Awesome vid dude! Thank you.

Happy travels. Get home safely!!
Just found your channel. I'm half through this video and very impressed. Your philosophy and your good gut instincts are spot on. Well done. Enjoying this.
Oh my goodness, your mom and your aunt are so fun. I'd love to have you take BOTH of them on more trips. They made us smile!
Dang, those pancakes looked SO GOOD! That location was so beautiful and serene. Thank you for another great video, makes me with that I could be out on the road too.
Hope you get the camper all working for next time! I certainly enjoyed the series on this trip. The snowy Yellowstone was amazing. So I showed the very beginning of this to my baby son about three times. When you open the hatch at the beginning, he giggles at the moment you come up. Lol
Speaking about being lonely, I only get lonely when I see some amazing sights that I wish someone else were there to witness with me. But for the rest of the trip I am fine lol
Putting a gas heater in a truck camper is not worth it. Creates a lot of issues that you will have to deal with. You have a propane water heater and stove so will still have to haul propane. I LOVE MY ESPAR in my van but I do not have anything that is propane. When you tap into your trucks fuel tank a lot of people have had issues with the height and length of the tubing run. Stay with propane and maybe haul an extra tank if you need to. My truck camper I was able to haul 2 tanks and in -30 had no issues.
I'm learning a lot by watching your cooking, I'm getting some great ideas!
Looking forward to your future adventures, Jonathan. From Saskatchewan, Canada.
With the cold up here in northern bc we use the diesel heaters they work well.
Another outstanding video, Jonathan!
It also recharges are internal systems and removes life stress
I bet having a camera to talk to helps with the loneliness.
Loving the trees diff colors. Thank you for sharing these living post cards. A lake fronting the colorful trees. The Autumn Fever. So enchanting! 🤩🤩
Really enjoy your videos and love learning more about cooking while camping.
Always follow your gut feeling Jonathan, if people look sketchy, keep rolling
Gorgeous scenery and those meals looked amazing. A quote from "into the wild"....beauty is better when shared.
Very enjoyable video as usual. Glad you are planning to fix your amenities! I don’t think I could have dealt with all those problems on an ongoing basis. I think you will get even more enjoyment out of your camper once it is all fixed. My late husband and I started out with a pickup with a shell and had a cooler, Coleman stove and a foam mattress. Once we could afford a full truck camper with oven, shower etc - I thought I had died and gone to heaven. We enjoyed it for many years. Can’t wait to see how it ends up. By the way - the burger looked delicious!
Great video!!!!
There’s the Propex heater I’ve heard good things about!! I particularly like that heat set up compared to the Diesel heater craze!!
Just wanted to say love watching your videos, very relaxing and great content. Thanks
Love your videos Jonathon. I love that part of the country. Be safe out there.
13:03 it all makes sense. It's experiencing many aspects/emotions of being human (joy, pain, sunshine, rain). Or simply put, "I can't miss you if you don't go away first, dang! 🤣"
I love when a man figures out how peaceful and simple life and travel can be when you're alone.
