    When you tighten the bolts with the torque wrench, it would be amazing if you would tell us the nm values you do :) other than that, you explain everything very well. Thank you so much for these videos. I am currently binge watching all of them from the newest to oldest haha

    I had the same quad and it ran great but then out of knowhere it wouldn’t start up when hot and left me stranded few times . Turns out it was a fuel prob in the petcock witch was weird I guess that diaphram in there wouldn let the fuel flow

    I need advise My 1999 kodiak 400 is backfiring through the carb and I’ve loosened intake valve and it’s still not starting. Would that be a bent valve or something else? Help would be appreciated.

  • @rockspowersports

    @rockspowersports

    3 ай бұрын

    Could be a few things. A very lean condition could cause backfiring through the carb. Have you clean the carb recently? Also check to make sure the runner boot in between the carb and engine is not cracked and sucking air. It could also be a timing issue. Did you check your timing alignment to make sure it didn’t jump a tooth or so?
