I honestly think that P06 defeats LoS in almost all categories. I think all P06 needs is to have bosses, the hubs, and the story, and it will be the definitive experience.

@@Alex-eu6rw It didn’t really change anything to begin with, iirc. Though, I would suggest adding less automation in some areas, and beginning work on alternatives to character switching. I’d love to play as Super Sonic front to back on a long stage without gimmicks or automation.

I don't think so, because 1. chaos x told me a long time ago on Twitter that he had no plans at the moment to do the story mode 2.Because of Unity's new policy where all developers must pay an amount of money for each download of their game, I don't think it will happen

The fact that sonic's Crisis City originaly had 5 sections explains why i aways found so odd that the OST for Crisis City has 5 segments despite it only having 4 segments in the track name (The Flame ~ Skyscraper ~ Whirlwind ~ Tornado). I think the 5th segment would be called "The City", what are your ideas for the name?

1:30:00 What is interessting is that it is less "the boss dies" and more that the boss despawns and the game simply ends the stage instantly if there is no boss. I remember seeing something similar in videos where unintended characters were loaded into these fights and the boss just didn't spawn to begin with. I wonder if this is intentional or simply because the Boss' HP becomes null if there is no boss, but it is still a good move by the programming vs how some other games just get stuck if the boss somehow disappears and beating it is the endtrigger.

One thing I can say is seeing retail 06 in any respect makes me appreciate the homing reticle so much more in P-06

I agree with the title because LOS is a mod meant to improve the game using the same engine and chaosx still helped out with this mod. In essence it is more like a remaster for retail 06. Project 06 is more like a remake from the ground up that still has yet to finish It's good that we have both as LOS allows for the entire game of 06 to be playable and enjoyed in a complete fixed experience, and P-06 is a different game in progress that is creating a new experience.

What do you think about the movement in this vs p06? I feel like p06 is almost perfect but the turning and initial startup speed is so awkward. Chaosx says hes planning to try changing the movement to be closer to the adventure games so I have total faith. But as of rn I find myself enjoying movement more in legacy of solaris than p06

Just finished the game in los, the controls were painful and I felt much of the I was fighting the controls more than the enemies. Going back and trying levels I wanted to see a other take on in p06 it just... worked. I could just play the game and not be held back by the jank as much. Still I PLAYED 06 to completion in LoS because I wanted to play the full game jack or no

Yeah me and my brother grew up playing this a lot and just glitching the game out and seeing what we could do. For instance in crisis city they're ladders attached to the ball things that I think are water towers idk. But either way with shadow and sonic you could stand on one then kick while running forward slightly and it would launch the ladder across the map with you still standing on it. Another glitch was the speed glitch which only worked in multiplayer you die with sonic while using the red gem u respawn and move stupid fast. The game mechanics just start breaking for sonic

They are both great in their own ways. LoS is a great mod that completely overhauls the gameplay and absolutely EVERYTHING, reaching the vanilla game's true potential to a very long extent, while P-06 is a full-blown remake that gives a completely different (PEAK) experience than the unfinished shit that we were used to. Anyway, both are very recommended if you wanna play peak sonic, all it matters is if you wanna play all the stuff that vanilla has (Including Sonic Man, that guy is the best part of the vanilla game fr), then you go to LoS, if you wanna see P-06's extra content and original/exclusive stuff then you obviously go to P-06.

I don't think you talked about it here so i kinda wanna ask, concidering you mentioned knuckles and rouge's gliding being slightly altered, does this mod fix the spiderman glitch? (the thing that causes knuckles and rouge to instantly reattach to walls when attempting to jump out of a climb. idk if "the spiderman glitch" is the proper name for it, that's just what i call it personally.)

Xenia speed the load times up in general, LoS can't do anything in that department.

get the reimagined mod with LOS, they work very well together

i deadass still need help with this mod man

Btw if you have dev mode on Xbox Series S/X this is playable with the Xenia on series consoles. Played through LoS this way, was a blast

Generally when shit like that happens to me I delete the game and mod and reinstall them unless Google specifically has a fix

Are they going to redo the rest of it? I downloaded the silver one which covers the sonic, silver and shadow he doesn’t cover all the stages and stuff because there’s certain parts of the game that’s not finished yet by this team but I’m wondering if they’re gonna finish all of it or are they going to finish the very ending of the game where you get to play with sonic, shadow and silver I absolutely love playing PO. It is amazing and it’s totally worth it. This is my favorite sonic game.

The amount of people that failed to understand the meaning of the video title is baffling. He clearly states multiple times in previous VODs and streams that "Project 06" is an entirely different game, which it is, since it is built from scratch in a different engine than vanilla 06. P-06 does not use vanilla 06 as a base. Legacy of Solaris is a mod of vanilla 06 that uses it as a base hence the phrase the best "Sonic 06" experience. Its not called the best "Project 06" experience.

Idk man, this one keeps looking too similar to retail 06, bugs, bad graphics, lag, glitches, not much visual improvement, I think P06 owns this comparison. Maybe this one just has better controls and additional stuff thats not precisely an enhancement of 06 but a completely different thing added?

You didn't need to turn the game audio down at all, your voice is always at the same loud, booming volume so it always overpowers the games you play by a large margin.
