What are the best vocal plugins? VocAlign is the best plugin for tight vocals and it's not even close! VocAlign Ultra lets you match the timings of your vocal doubles and vocal harmonies to the time of your lead vocal track. It saves hours and is easily one of the best vocal plugins available.
In this video, I’m using VocAlign Ultra in Logic Pro x, but the same general ideas apply in other versions like VocAlign Project 5 or if you’re using VocAlign in Pro Tools.
In the first part of the VocAlign tutorial, I show you the demo vocal tracks and what we’re working with. Then, we put the best vocal plugin, VocAlign Ultra ARA, on the first insert of each vocal track we’ll be using.
Press space bar to let VocAlign Ultra ARA import your vocal tracks.
Choose your ‘Guide’ track, and then click the Capture Button.
Then choose your ‘Dub’ track that you’re going to be altering, and click the Capture Button.
VocAlign Ultra does the rest! You can adjust the intensity of the timing adjustments. In VocAlign Ultra, you can adjust the pitch as well.

Hey man great vid and explanation! qq would you use the first harm as a dub, for timing to the lead (0% pitch). Then use that processed harm as the guide for the remaing harm dubs? Hope that makes sense... keep up the good work :)
dude, you just saved me hours! I just tried the trial license with a quick song and it works like a champ. I've spent hours this week trying to line up doubles. What a pain.

This is really cool. Thanks for sharing! Do you know if VocAlign will save in the edits you make, before sending it off for mixing? Like, if I make use vocAlign in my protools session, then bounce the tracks out to an engineer to mix, will my tracks all be aligned still?
