Sammamish is a city just 40 minutes east of Seattle and 20 minutes east of Bellevue. With its close vicinity to these top cities, you will find plenty of homes and highly rated schools all set within a beautifully wooded environment right next to the lake!

I grew up in Sammamish. It’s really nice but when I lived there in the 1990’s a 2,500 sq ft house was $250,000. Now it’s $2,000,000. It’s just way too unaffordable for 99% of the population.

Monica you have done a spectacular job on showing us your city.. definitely visiting soon😊
Bruh how is audio so coherent 🔥 great job 👏 always such good quality Monica
Fantastic property & city tour! I love the outdoor space in the home. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for watching!
Adding the videographer who kept the camera moving really added quite the touch to this presentation. Great stuff!
My friend took me to the lake when I did an overnight trip to Seattle/Surrounding area in June. Very peaceful and serine, and great for photos (which is what we did). I love visiting less-touristy places as a tourist
The Video as a whole looks super professional! It looks so much documentary style video!
Paying that much for a house only to get like 4 feet of backyard "space" is a no-go in my book.

For 2.5 mil I much rather take a fixer upper 10 acre ranch somewhere in a fly over state than a beautiful house with a nothing backyard 20 feet from my neighbors lol

The place has gronwn a lot!! It was way better back in the 80's & 90's They bought land and fucked it up by building houses on top of each other, half the houses are built on old dirt bike 4X4 trails & party spots we had in highschool. It's kinda sad they destroyed the place.
When you haven't watched a Monica Church video in a while and forget how good she is at making them
Great post! That word… sammamish is so funny! 😂

It’s a tribal name. Sammamish is a blend of two Native American words - samena, which means hunter and mish, which means people.
It’s beautiful out there wow thanks for sharing that inspiring
this was my beautiful sunset view when i used to work for contract back in 2018 ,Redmond WA
Beautiful video , great info .
Everything you said is spot on. I would add that with all those homes and limited access points from that plateau, traffic and the commute can be annoying. And since it’s a somewhat newly incorporated city, it feels more like a bedroom community with basic services without a ’downtown’ and definitely lacks a variety of restaurants or shopping. We lived next door in Redmond for 25 years and know it well.
It’s my city! The one frustration is the lack of good dog parks. Other than that, everything is great-Costco and Trader Joes nearby, great schools, family environment, actual sidewalks…
You did an excellent job! I’m so shocked at how expensive it is!
This town looks lovely but I have a feeling I'd need a car to get around with limited bike/walk/transit options. I'll probably stick to Seattle for now.

All your vlogs are great.
Beautiful city. It looks like a Hollywood set. The vegetation looks like the vegetation in The X Files. Gr8 vid as usual. 🎥 🇺🇸 🏡 🌺
I'm an admin at one of our local real estate offices. Love your videos. I'd like to encourage more of my agents to use video in their marketing and possibly starting a youtube channel. Great content! Cheers from Montana!
Great video!

I’d be super interested in seeing the floating house community on Lake Union. There aren’t many videos which is a shame cause it’s really unique
$635/sq ft is totally insane for a house!
Your videos always makes me want to leave Cali and move to Washington! 😍

So nice!
Nice to see you back on your 'A' game. Dressing so well too, very schmick. The videographer is a nice touch and allows you to focus on delivery including dress sense. Must be nice not to have worry about the filming side of things. Videographer did an excellent job 🪃🪃🦘🦘🤗🤗.
It's crazy to see how much Sammamish and Issaquah have exploded since the 90's. My grandma's family founded Issaquah in the 1860's and she always comments on how much it has changed, even since she was raising kids (back then, Issaquah was kind of a small farming town, and she was literally related to half the residents). She and my grandpa were priced out back in 1994. The schools there are great though!
My only problem with Seattle is the lack of sunshine for few months, but other than that it is so gorgeous ❤

UGH I JUST LOVE REAL ESTATE! Trying to figure out how to claw my way out of being poor so I can afford a home one day haha. Great video, I can totally tell you have a professional videographer here, the shots look amazing!
Hey Monica , really nice video! I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will help your video to reach to a wider audience .
amazing homes. americans are keen on bathrooms. we are lucky to get two at most
can you review city of Bellevue, please.. anyway i have question: is Clyde Hill part of Bellevue? or is it independent town that separated from Bellevue?
Interesting these homes are so large given that people are having smaller families, if they're starting a family at all. All the new builds here are HUGE with opulent entries, two living rooms (why?) and massive kitchens (sometimes with a butler kitchen, again, why?)... yet the yard isn't large enough to plant a tree in. 😐

I think maybe because the weather is so bad you will end up stuck inside for 9 months out of the year.
Other advantages... low crime compared to other east side cities, and the commercial area around 228th is walkable and safe for children.
45 minutes to Bellevue 75 minutes to Seattle The traffic to, within, and getting out of Sammamish will drive you to drinking

@@Minka_6I guess if realtors are to be believed, then everyone should be doing this at least 10 times a day to stay healthy and fit .
What is the city doing about walkability? I know most places are very very car dependent but I’m wondering if they are doing anything to make it more like what notjustbikes (KZreadr on urban planning and design) talks about.

Looks like farmland converted into suburban sprawl
I enjoy your videos but I wanted to see more of the town itself, I feel like you keep turning it into selling a house which I understand you’re a real estate agent, but I would really appreciate more time in the video spent on showing more of the city itself and not only focusing on really expensive homes.

There's no city...lol. it's a suburb
I still cannot get used to the crazy prices of homes on the west coast. Yikes!!!!
I went to high school there (Eastlake). I hated it because people weren’t friendly lol
Thoughts on the rain shadow region (Townsend, Sequim and Port Angeles)?
@jlw7189

Those towns are very isolated and far from the greater Seattle area. More retirement, tourist area.
6:30 I literally added a 0, so 5000 as well. Man
Q: How many banks do you have to rob to be able to afford a place in Sammamish, WA? A: A lot !
Beautiful house, i wanna buy one 🙂
Sammamish is a suburb of Seattle. Not really a "small" city. Houses used to be $200,000 15 years ago, but are now 10X that. Ridiculous appreciation. Property taxes will be $1000/month or more now.
950 square feet condo For $525 thousand! Only place for sale today.
IDK how a city can be voted #1 with suburban hell sprawl and virtually no walkability.

Im interested in auctions foreclosures.
Best city for millionaires!
I wish one day the waste is shame, not a glory.
Cool! Best city in America... for people who have 2.5 million to spend on a home. Lol.
5:00
Hey I grew up there! Still have my 425 number
Raised in Eastgate outside of Bellevue in the early 1960's and now live in kitsap county .. nice area.
They had all that fancy kitchen and didn’t even bring the cabinets to the ceiling? Looks cheap
Sure. If you can afford to live there.
Homes aren't exactly affordable unless you started a tech company.
Looks like a ghost town! Where are the people?
Can you buy a 3,000 sq foot home for under 2 million?
what percent of your subs could afford this home? .00001%
I thought Sequim was the best?
I live in the area, most people are Chinese, very few white families can afford it. The Chinese are great people very smart.
What I don't get... one pays several million dollars for a luxurious house and yet you still get these ugly eyesores of an electricity- and gasmeter on the outside wall (at 4:18). Over here that stuff is neatly hidden behind a door in the hallway. That said, you presented this video very well 👍
SAM Mam is H. H could be hell or heroine or maybe heroin. Not a lot of people call a Sam a mam.
You forgot to mention that Lake Sammamish is where Ted Bundy used to look for his victims!
If you are looking to launder $2.475 Million from Asia, a lovely 2nd home from your main residence in Switzerland or you have $500,000-$1 million sitting around for a down payment then this one is for you. You’ll love watching Seahawk games too with your reasonable $15,000 mortgage payment😂
Cops are assholes, everyone in Samammish drives like assholes and are stuck up. There isn’t any good restaurants, you have to go to Bellevue to eat, and even then, finding parking in Bellevue is tough. The only thing cool about Sammamish is the Metropolitan Market 😂
Um no. Way too cold.
The Best small city at the price of destroying the very nature you yearn for. You all love the Evergreen trees, but the first thing you do is cut them down because your afraid they will fall on you or your house. And of course you can't have cougars and bears walking the Neiborhood's so they have to be killed. In the end you'll wind up just another concrete city. So why not give the nature a break and just move to Seattle.
Why are you opening up all the secret locations. People want to live peaceful and private. And you inviting all the bad actors and weird ppl out of state.
