Eli is representing the portrait of Alexander Nitrokoff from the Stretching Room in the Haunted Mansion. The portrait itself is behind him. Haunted Mansion lore has it that Nitrokoff died under mysterious circumstances, as portrayed in his portrait. Geoff is the Caretaker (also known as the Gravedigger), one of the few living characters in the Haunted Mansion. behind Geoff is the busts for the ghosts. Cesar is the ghostly medium, Madame Leota, Layne is the Hatbox Ghost (a ghost who was removed from the actual ride after its face-swapping illusion failed to work properly- Layne's illusion worked much better!) Lauren is the Bride In the Attic, a character who has undergone a number of changes over the years. in the background operatic effects are from Elizabeth Zharoff from (The Charismatic Voice) "Hide and Seek" is a song produced by Ho-ong-i, and performed by VOCALOID SeeU. (in Korean) the English version was done in 2014. Lauren Paley (known as the stairwell siren) has a version of this in the stairwell defiantly worth the listen (both full length and her Tick Toc version) if you have not heard her stuff done in the stairwell you are missing out.. it adds a naturally creepy effect

The song is an example how sometimes very nice things can come from the internet. It was created for a Korean youtube channel that does original songs with Vocaloids. It has original animation that makes it even creepier. Another youtube channel that does English versions of Vocaloid songs created the translation used here. It has been covered off and on by smaller channels, until Lauren did a version that went viral, getting Voiceplay's attention.

Travis, you are right, their stuff is so intricate that you can't appreciate everything in one or twenty sittings. I have to watch five times, concentrating on one singer each time, hoping I get most of what they've done then go back for the rest. Even then, the visuals, makeup, set, actions are also amazing. Then I have to watch all the reactors to see what they caught that I didn't. I am always here for Voiceplay and Geoff!

It took several watchings for me to catch Eli with his loud "boom" at the end of his first line in the song (especially fitting based on his character from the Haunted Mansion who was standing on a keg of dynamite).

Yeah. I must've listened to this song 20 times, and watched 20 reactions to it, and only now for the first time noticed Eli going "Hello!" when Lauren is singing that she's inside your room now.

It's from the Haunted Mansion at Disney - they are all dressed as characters from the mansion. You can find more Lauren Paley by searching "Stairwell Singer", I think - most of her stuff I've seen is her singing in a really acoustic stairwell. :) Have you watched "In The Hall of the Mountain King" by Voice Play yet? Another excellent piece for the spooky season!

The set design and costumes are from Haunted Mansion, but the song is not. It was actually popularized by Lauren Paley. It was originally a Korean vocaloid song, then translated for an English vocaloid, then Lauren found it and used it in a stairway siren tik tok.

She lives in Nashville, did a solo version of Hide and Seek on TikTok which went viral. VoicePlay contacted her about the full version including the Disney Haunted Mansion. She agreed and Layne flew up to Nashville, did the recording and flew back to Orlando just before Hurricane Ian rolled inland. It was a great combination between Lauren and VoicePlay. Elizabeth from The Charismatic Voice did the background vocals for all the zippy ghosts flying around the room.

She also performs this exact song with The Bass Gang. And if you have not reacted to The Bass Gang yet, PLEASE react to them! The range from these 4 bass singers is incredible. And the harmonizing and synchronization in the videos are incredible, especially considering they have never even performed in the same country let alone the same room(Tomi is from the Czech Republic, Marwan is from Egypt, Bobby Bass and Peter Barber are from the US)….just, wow!

This was a TikTok song that Lauren did a while ago. Many people have collated their singing of it with hers on TikTok. My favorite version is Bobby Bass and Lauren's version of Hide and Seek. When Voiceplay announced they were doing this with Lauren, it was huge news. But, get this, Bobby Bass's group The Bass Gang just announced that they are gonna do a full version of Hide and Seek with Lauren! 😍

The theme is The Haunted Mansion in Disney World and Disneyland. They are all ghost there. Lauren made this song famous on tiktok singing it in her apartment building stairwell cause it sucks and she wanted to scare her neighbors. She is known as the Stairwell Siren.
