🇷🇴 THIS IS ROMANIA?! (exploring Transylvania and the Apuseni Mountains)
After a treacherous but beautiful drive up winding roads, we get to start our day high in the mountains of Transylvania, Romania. Today we hike through a jungle, find a little waterfall, explore a MASSIVE cave called Coiba Mare Cave and get underground in the famous (And freezing!) Scărişoara Glacier Cave in the Apuseni Mountains.
Romania is such a stunning country and we are just warming up on this EPIC road trip!

What beautiful countryside, I can’t believe you two missed all the signs but you did see a beautiful waterfall on your detour. You were lucky there were no bears hiding in the cave, they must’ve been out searching for berries. How bizarre was that ice cave, never seen anything like it. Thanks for taking us there with you. Allways dress up on mountains ,usually is cold even in the summer! 🥰
Nice place, nice people! "Cetatile Ponorului" is also another very exciting hiking route in Apuseni Mountains, I recommend you if you have possibility to go there. For this route you need special shoes designed for mountain trekking.

@@JordanandEmily Me laughing in romanian remembering being kids and feeding the bears with sandwitches and biscuits from the palm of my hand....they are just like pet dogs,only more calm and bigger...but if a particular bear doesn't know you since it was a cub ...i don't recomend you to try this....

I used to visit those places! The glacier too! The landscape is breath taking!!! In fact, my house in Romania is 200km trough the north.
