This is RodBuilding Episode #1 Saltwater Foregrips

Спорт

In the first episode of “This is RodBuilding,” Gary gets to work on rebuilding a saltwater rod. He shows how to rebuild a Saltwater foregrip using different techniques and plenty of American Tackle products. He goes through the entire foregrip rebuild from picking the Eva handle, trimming it down to size, reshaping, glue-up, and finishing.

Nothing highlights my immaturity more than my reaction to, "bell-end", being used in a professional setting. I did however find this video extremely helpful. Thanks!

Awesome video. I was wondering how much reaming you did on the grip as the rear slid further down the blank when you were putting your marks. Also how much smaller is the I.D. of the grip compared to O D. of the blank.

  • @truecustomrods6937

How do you fit and align reel seats on to stand up rods. Do you fit the ferrule for trolling butts after rod guides are on? What do you do with a Heavy duty saltwater reel seat?
