I love this video. It captures many of the feelings I still have about Reed even so many years later--I am from the class of 1977. There really is no place like Reed.

One of the best college recruitment videos I've seen.. Kudos to whoever produced and edited this.

I was put on the waitlist of admission to reed college. I still remember Reed was the only school which required me to submit one of my research papers during the application process. I respect its academic attitude.

And did you get into reed or they rejected you after putting you in the waiting list?. i am currently at reed waiting list, What should I do?

I'm a college counselor and have visited Reed twice already. Wonderful place. I wanted my kid to go here.

I have lived less than a mile from Reed for 19 years. Passing it everytime I go out and It is just as beautiful as ever. One of my greatest regrets goes along with my inability to succeed with what I truly desired. My unfortunate turn in academics. Going to Reed would provided a promising future. Maybe next time huh?

Really great video. I am class of 1993. I still miss the cameraderie and intellectual vibrancy of the campus community!

Makes me want to go back and do it all over again.

I got into Reed as a transfer! So happy

Dream college. I already love it so much. It just feels like I belong here. If I get in, I'll be starting college there in 2016, but it already feels like home.

Great and wonderful video. Thanks! I had the great privilege of having visited the Reed campus twice...once in 2013 and again last July. I wanted my own son to come here.

i will cry here and im 100% certain.

+Madeline Hudgens +Bubble Cat They actually have really good financial aid, they meet 100% of need. So whatever your family cant pay, they'll give to you (in grants, loans, and a work study). Use their Net Price Calculator if you want an estimation of how much you would have to pay.

I thought that too!! but I applied anyways and I actually got amazing financial aid!! I'm 100% able to afford Reed now and am going to attend this fall :) So don't be afraid to apply even if you think you won't be able to afford it

+Mardoqueo Covarrubias Don't be so quick to write it off. Look into financial aid. Sometimes, financial aid can make out of state private colleges cheaper than your in state university.

I love Reed.

That was a pretty good intro video to the college. The campus looks like an old-school one, too. (Sorry for the pun) It's like something from the East Coast, visually speaking. Supposedly, back in the 1970s, Steve Jobs attended this liberal art college, but he did dropout of it before graduating.

I live in Alabama and I added my name to the mailing list, I want to go here because it looks like a great college for the field I am interested in.

I will legit cry if I do not get accepted to Reed, it's Reed or community college :(((((((

Blue, I am thinking the graffiti in the bathroom is questionable too. I didn't know gangs and gangs upon racist people hang out in Reed library bathrooms scrawling racist graffiti? Aren't there cameras of people entering and exiting the bathroom? I bet if the Portland Police are able to investigate this graffiti report it will be proven false. I can say from interacting with Reed Alum that they are highly classiest, bigoted, and discriminatory.
