This is REALLY not looking good

Ойын-сауық

Master Sol was left an emotional wreck at the end of episode 5 of the Acolyte, this has caused him to make some mistakes in the aftermath of skirmish on Khofar. I think this leaves him in a very vulnerable position, something that Jedi Master Vernestra Rwoh could easily take advantage of.

It’s so weird how Jedi teach each other to be the moral police and in tune with the force but the minute something goes wrong, they’re the first to point fingers and throw each other under the bus. I think Vanestra is framing Sol, just to take the heat off of herself. You could see it in her eyes when she realized it was Quimir. The more I get to know about Jedi practices, the least I like them. As much as I wanted him to stay with Luke, I can definitely understand why it wasn’t very hard for Baby Yoda to choose the path of becoming mandalorian.

My theory is it depends on the "strength" of the echo. Like the stuff Cal Kestis and Quinlan Voss pick up/touch is too faint for most Jedi, but in a situation like the bombing or the attack on Khofar, there's such an instant, and violent shift in the force (loss of life), that the echoes are "louder" allowing other Jedi to hear them.

That's not entirely accurate though, Yoda knew of the Sith in Phantom Menace, if he thought Sith had been extinct for milennia, there is no way he would have known about the rule of two in Phantom Menace, because that rule was only created AFTER the Sith were supposedly destroyed.

"The road to Hell is paved with good intentions." That should be the Jedi's motto for this era. They're trying so hard to not appeared flawed, that their flaws are being exposed. I'm wondering who originally sent the Jedi to Brendock. Was it Vanestra? She seems to be in charge of the investigation division of the jedi, if that's even a thing. The clues being dropped in each episode just bring up more questions. It is unfortunate that this show isn't doing that well. You are right about the hindsight. I've been watching week to week: First I suspected Yord, he was so straight laced and quick to palm his saber when ANYTHING seemed amiss (A Jedi doesn't pull her weapon unless prepared to kill), so I thought maybe he was mad at the looseness of the jedi and thought secretly they were a lie. Then I thought it was Mother Coral. Then I thought it was Mother Coral force wielding Qimir. I was almost disappointed when Qimir was revealed, until he started speaking with Sol and Mani is so good at the roll. I love that almost every guess I've had is wrong. My only issue with the last episode was they didn't address whether they found Newbacca's (Kelnacca's) body in the ship-hut or not. Wierd since he's the only Jedi that was actually known to be there. Or did I miss it? Great vid.

The series won't beat Andor :D That's for sure. Andor is a masterpiece, but right now, it's a solid. It could blow me away with the next episodes and this is so engaging. I also feel like the ones rating The Acolyte badly haven't watched a single minute. You said it in one of your other videos. Most who rated Andor, haven't even watched the show! And it’s a big problem to attribute ontological evil to a group. What The Acolyte does is demonstrates that good and evil are something that you do, not something that you are.

Just bits here and there and you have to search for it too because the nonsense of spammers and the culture war nonsense is in the way. And I've tried so many of the other platforms and it's either not there at all or also just as hard to find and interact with. That's why I'm here. Your channel and a few others have been great! And this video was excellent. Thank you Allen!

I’m still convinced that another character is showing up. Dave Harewood was an actor rumored to be showing up in the show in a “small” role. That guy has a good voice on him so I imagine if he were playing a character it might potentially be a Sith that’s voice acted but who knows maybe it’s an in the flesh character too.

I think becouse all this cortosis and planet hints, and talking about two siths in the show, somebody is goonna apper. I belive that Quimir is Sith apprentice, not Lord, and we will see Darth Tenebrous or maybe the last scene of this season will be Sol dying in hands of May and Osha, gaining redemption for things on Brendock, Sister will spare life of wounded Quimir after epic duel, and go awey thougether. Then Darth Plagious arrives, Quimir thinks he will be saved, but Darth kills him, takes Hi body to do disturbing experiment (that will not be showed, just for fans to guess, and then, he will finally show Hi master Tenebrous that he was worthy apprentice.

I like that they are exploring something different. We know from the prequels that the Jedi are not so balanced. This little mystery serves to reveal some of the subversion and complacency within the Jedi as an organization and just how strong it was. The Jedi seem like a corrupt Police Department in this Republic era. I hope we do get know more about the other forces users, what happened to them, who did it to them and why. I for one am still very interested. Just why is it that ONLY the Jedi can train force sensitive children in this Republic? Until further notice, it still does look like the Jedi came after the Covenant for doing exactly what the Jedi do, train children. I wonder if the Acolyte is here to show us the degradation of the Jedi.

I would not say it's literally better than Ahsoka, but I like how some speeches in The Acolyte are more deep and make sense, like when Osha was speaking with Qimir on his secret planet, most of those sentences were pretty well written, which is shocking for Disney era StarWars and fight choreography is a massive step forward for Disney era, but after all, I am still looking forward for Ahsoka season 2 more than Acolyte season 2 because you have whole new galaxy there and anything can happen there. I am pretty sure they will waste this potential, but let's hope they won't. Instead of the Acolyte, I would like to see something in more distant past or future, this is too close to prequels and they are limited by that. That massive hate of Acolyte before it was actually released is stupid and I don't watch channels like Nerdotic anymore, I thought they are serious StarWars channels before, but now I know they are not, you are vice versa one of only few big StarWars channels who is serious and don't automatically hate everything just becuase it's created by "some LGBT woman" or something.

When he's getting in the water, stripping away his dark clothes, he's being transparent and vulnerable to Osha. Mae has never known her master's face and he's trying to do it "right" this time. He was carrying his white clothes. He set them down offscreen. We'll find out what happened to the coven. Koril probably controlled both sides of the battle so the Jedi look bad. The helmet will show Osha the truth and Sol will tell Mae his truth. Sol is not weak-minded so maybe he knows the truth and went along with [whatever Koril did] to get Osha out. Vernestra doesn't know the whole truth but knows it's someone else. Sol's biggest secret will [probably] die with him without telling her. The other three Jedi think they did something bad. Sol knew it was Mae even before they left for the ship. There's one thing that will change everything for me. If the witches are revealed to survive in the end, there will be speculation for years about whether they ever died or if Koril brought them back. Koril might be the big boss-ness and a tie to the Sith returning. Her ties with If it were me, I'd end the series with Osha and Mae testifying, Mae earning her redemption with Qimir (Darth Guns) expressing how she learned from her weakness, how to kill the dream. They plant the seed of doubt that grows dogma within the Jedi Order beyond recovery and have them fade into obscurity without anyone else knowing about Qimir. That's my perspective and theories. Destiny / Insecurity-Skepticism Deviance?

Very possible for her to have trained him during the era she had left the Jedi. I think that would be a good solution, have Qimir either lie about being a sith, or just frame it that way because of how the jedi view dark side users. Its just his mention of the power of 2 being so similar to the rule of 2 that makes me think he might have become darth tenebrous acolyte of sith apprentice at some point, and have been discarded.

Lore and canon is decided by the creator, not us fans. I understand this. I also understand that the overzealous fanboy influencers that don't like change or deviation, either from The New Hope Era or the Phantom Menace Era, are dead set on forcing their stagnant views on their followers. I'll admit that I felt this way because I was focused on a continuation of the same tale with the same characters. Movies like Rogue One and Solo changed that. I've even grudgingly accepted the Force Awakens Era. Andor and this still tie in to the universe, but the standalone storylines should remind fans that the SW universe has a myriad of stories to be told, and they don't have to follow canon exactly. Personally, it gives some mystery back to the Force. There's been such a push to explain Dark and Light, and for it to be understood, the sudden unknown events in this show and Ahsoka, are making the "magic" of the Force and it's influence of individuals, a curiosity again.

If Sol outmatched Qimir at full rage, what was the plan to take all four Jedi masters out, one-by-one? There's no way Osha could've taken Sol on with her knives. Sol wouldn't have fallen for the death that befell Indara. Was it the dyad? Did Qimir see into the Force and know this was the path to take? Not sure why there was an accusation made at Sol. The Jedi of this era don't seem to use their Force abilities. I'm assuming that Qimir did more than take Osha's word for what happened on Brendok, why she isn't scarred or burned? Someone had to save her, judging by Sol saving Mae, that pit was deep. Someone used their abilities to grab Mae. Someone who cared..
