I would love to take a tour of the any of those containers boats. They look neat and cool, to see how everything operates.

Yeh, that-one looked like a properly modern approach in barge building. No extra weight above 1st deck, 2nd moved to the bow, for additional balance. And the car ramp looks secure, like on ferrys. Beautiful craft

There is nothing scary about that, half people sailing can't swim and it is never scary to them!! :-)

I sat at my desk, frozen in fear. Not able to swim, I was gripped in a sheer panic mode for 10 minutes and 43 seconds, adrenaline rushing, heart beating, unable to move. Then I realized the reason I was gripping my chair arms so tightly was the constant wind noise. I forgot that wind scares me more than anything. Thank God I survived. But I shall return to ShipSpotting Nederland again sometime in the future, because at age 81 I am still a thrill seeker and need an occasional rush. 🙄

..dat klopt Danny. Met verbazing kijk ik er zelf ook soms naar. Laatst "propten" ze er 4 schepen in en ik had een film van 12 minuten gedraaid, prachtig(in mijn ogen) en alles in beeld. Toen ik klaar was ontdekte ik echter dat de helft niet opgenomen was, omdat de kaart vol was, ha, ha. Dat doet pijn, maar nu lach ik er om. Volgende keer weer proberen, blijft leuk! Dank je Danny :-)

I have a phobia about "Dark Water" , I love the sea and rivers , but don't like dark , still waters like canals and some lakes , don't like to look into them . Is anyone else like this ?? Wales UK.

The first time i swam in totaly clear water i was anxious because i could look meters down at big fish down there,it was a strange form of fear of hight...something i dont have😳 i had to get used to seeing ships from bottom to top, after a month and a half,i came back home and had to get used to NOT seeing them like that.....

4:30 3 car family ! Must be doing OK ? Harderwijk is very smart and well kept .

Doing OK indeed , if you count that there are 56 containers on board @ 1500 euro / piece freight at least.( 84000 Euro)

OttovonEarth I believe they were 2 containers deep and 4 across, so there are 8 in a row and there are 7 rows and 7x8=56 and what I said was “about 60” so not a bad guess.

Yea she was built when meat was cheap, she doesn't have a courset she uses bailing wire, when she cuts herself she bleeds gravy

It is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE for a ship to pass through a 'SLUICE'. For to pass with any vessel, you will need a 'LOCK'!!!
