Port Loko is beautiful, for these places to grow, government need to take hard decisions. Many ministeries have no use having their headquarters in free town. Eg ministry of agriculture, ministry of local government, ministry of mines, ministry of works, all these ministries should have their headquarters in the provinces, workes who refused to move lose their jobs. This will help boast the economy of this regions. And it will help decongist free town as well.

I agree, some industries will have to be moved or built elsewhere otherwise people will only concentrate in one area. Young people from the provinces just abandoned their towns to come and do nothing in Freetown other than overcrowding in shanty towns.

Many thanks for presenting this exciting tour that gives an idea on the beauty of Nothern SL. The area looks well cared and clean and no doubt, it would be attractive for outside visitors. Residents should get aware of the economic potential that features their home district. Anyway it makes me dream to drive along these nice roads and enjoy the environment. Since my childhood I was longing for a journey to Africa, though I never was in the position to realize it. Hopefully it gets possible in future and driven by your vids my first choice of course will be Sierra Leone. 😮

The only thing I like in portloko you can see green all over

Triple pal, in my opinion only thing missing in your videos is you entering homes of ordinary people and maybe doing some short interviews about their daily living (also you should protect camera from direct sun - some videos are sun washed).

Good job triple A. Port loko is huge and beautiful. There are recent developments in Port Loko. Try and make another visit. Particularly the entertainment centers. I visited a few nights clubs in six provincial headquaters recently. Port loko nightclubs are up the roof with classic views. Trust me

Port Loko is deprived and under populated. The town needs massive upgrade. I spent one year there during the Ebola outbreak in 2015 and not much has changed.

@C Beito don't tell me that the people of Port Loko would prefer their current state of development to what we see in other regional headquarter towns like Bo, Kenema, Makeni and even Koidu. A lot needs to change in Port Loko.

Have said this before and am gonna say it again. Both the city and rural of Freetown should be a shame to see the provinces much more cleaner than the city where we get all dignitaries comes .

These politicians aren't ashamed of inviting international alliances to visit SL, especially Freetown. It's like being invited to a dirty house.
