I passed up an opportunity to go to law school at Ole Miss, it is arguably one of the biggest mistakes of my life. I’m almost done with my 1st year of law school and I hope I can transfer into Ole Miss for the remainder of my legal education. There is something truly special about this University that cannot be put into words.

One of my research advisors went to Ole Miss for grad school (PhD in physics). The school and the city of Oxford are magnificent.

wish other colleges would make videos like this, currently trying to decide between ASU, Ole Miss, and Alabama, this video makes me want to go to ole miss the most, guess we'll have to see after the tours where i choose

@@taramullen4956 Ole Miss is a great choice for what you want, really the main reasons why i chose Bama over Ole Miss was because the greek community at bama is much larger (more frats and sororities and more members in general) but theres no better place to tailgate than at the grove at Ole Miss, plus ive heard that the relationships between frats and sororities are super tight nit at ole miss compared to other schools, if you want southern tradition, Ole Miss is honestly your best bet, i strayed towards bama because i wanted to win in football, but if thats not one of your highest priorities, you would probably like Ole Miss better

@Cameron Garcia love bama so much, joined a great fraternity, met alot of great people in my first semester, i had random roommates and all 3 are pretty cool dudes, it helps that tuscaloosa doesnt enforce many lockdown rules too so we can actually still have fun, imo ole miss is just a slightly toned down version of bama, both are rly similar tho but unless theres something that only ole miss has, i think bama is the better choice, the greek life is nuts, the parties are amazing, ppl are super friendly, everythings really great

I live in Oxford Ms. They said in this video ''It's never too hot and never too cold'' Yesterdays low was 20 degrees. That is WAAAAYYY TOO COLD!!!. In the summer in hits the 100's personally I like it that hot, but for others that is too hot. Tellin' some lies about this place.

I’m from Mississippi stationed in Alaska and it gets past -50 here. 20 is shorts weather.

as an englishman your college education system makes ours look ancient,if your good at sport you can get an education too,we dont do that here,if we did id be at the university if manchester on a soccer scholarship,but again we dont do that

Precious little about Oxford. Mostly about Ole Miss sports.

If you want a fun really nice great college experience and you dont care about the education or whether the football team wins this is your place. Plus the women are the tops.

Ole Miss is tied with Vanderbilt for the most number of Rhodes Scholars in the SEC. Last year they had FOUR Rhodes Scholar finalists. Not quite sure what you mean about not caring about education. Now, as for not caring about whether the football team wins or not, I got nothing...but we NEVER lose a party!

@@tampazeke4587 yes i should not have phrased my post that way. I was speaking to kids that have not been preparing to get into the likes of Vandy, Duke, or some other hard to get into school. I am sorry to all Ol Miss Alumni i know the Literature Dept is special. Sorry i love Oxford.

Ole miss has some of the prettiest young ladies in the SEC . The SEC IS LOADED WITH SUPER HOT LAYDS FROM TOP TO BOTTON I LOVE ALL OF THESE YOUNG GALS BUT WHEN ONE TEAM BEATS BAma it usually the biggest win of the year so we will just say ROLL TIDE ROLL . LOVE ALL BEAUTY QUEEN'S OF THE SEC.

Don't move to Oxford to retire! Too many people here already. Not the sleepy little town it used to be!

Oxford..where you wait 45 min in your car for a starbucks because why not, nothing else to do. One movie theater, one bowling alley and...um...oh yeah, tennis courts galore. Plan on drinking heavily like the rest of everyone who goes to school there.
