I'm akali main and i agree, this matchup is akali favored, until yone itemizes for MR+Lifesteal before akali gets void, yone's engages are very predictable and this the best thing akali can ever ask for, when shieldbow was a first item, this matchup was harder for akali because you had to get a lead before yone completed shieldbow, but now this is a lot easier cause yone needs MR and Lifesteal to actually win

I dont think yone even wins late or after lv 6 against akali. Early yone had more chances but its really even.

@@Qopa yone wins level 1 and level 2, 3-5 is slightly akali favored, post 6 is akali all the way until yone has both MR and Lifesteal and once akali has void she wins again, this is because yone due to shielding and lifesteal gets so absurdely tanky that akali can never all in and yone will just heal back any chip dmg so in the 2-3 item mid game yone can win if he didnt lose badly before

@@catprincess7935 one of the main reason why yone struggles against this matchup is mostly due to her W. I play both champions and I could see Yone winning if he went with the jaksho + blade ruin king build but that build is kinda scuff imo. But if akali goes anti-heal, yone can't do anything.

You should never get hit with empowered Q pre 6 as u can dodge with your E. After 6, youre effectively screwed tho lol

Apparently Tahm is broken atm, I never see it in korea but they overbuffed it from what I've heard, Yone should still be fine into him, it pretty much comes down to avoiding/dodging his Q's. Stand behind your minions and poke him down with Q/W, if he runs into you, you can run around minions to make it hard for him to Q you while simultaneously hitting him back

@@skyliaan6247 my best advice would be to count his graves with his q and then expect the e. honestly if he doesnt hit e you will almost always win in a fistfight cuase his minions are most his dmg. additionally if you get hit by e try to time w when they hit you and just q them

In one of his videos he mentioned the best way to kill/counter Irelia (if I remember right) is to farm under tower. There is none for Ekko tho, I just know that best counter to Irelia is tower.

@@nyroxin Yone's matchups suck tbh. You can go full glasscanon and you still barely etch or chip away at the enemy tank. (Peak game design there, Rito.) I get it, it is cancer to play. But yeah, biggest Irelia outplay is turrets. And ig bait Ekko ult as advice? Ekko without an ult is good as dead if I'm aware. (I'm not a pro-player tho fyi I just know his R has revive.)

“winning” lane on yone is getting enough cs and experience to outscale and carry lategame. people r delusional and think yone is like peak yasuo and plays for kills and lane dominance in every matchup, whereas he’s one of the games premier hypercarries once he gets his items. dzukill even plays to this win on with his constant freezing cuz it buys him time in the early game where the other laner can’t meaningfully interact with him

For y’all who are not getting the joke, I’m just saying that he is getting ganked a lot by the enemy jg which is jarvan IV, while laning against akali. Which I used Akali IV (Akali the fourth) to jokingly indicate that he is getting camped😅

I found running a grasp setup into akali helps a lot on yone. Much easier to win trades that way

its not necessarily better it's pros and cons, Kraken better at killing squishy champs scales harder costs less, Botrk gives you lifesteal and kills hp stackers faster

I hate playing yone into akali honestly rather play against any tank than her

What makes Akali hard to fight is that her damage doesnt make much sense. Her E should not deal that much damage and her Q deals too much to also have an empowered AA + low cooldown. It baits your brain into thinking she's weaker than she really is, I'm hardstuck D1/M so maybe I just need to get good

@@cody6550 Akali isn't strong, she just punishes the slightest mistakes very heavily like most slayers do, I main Akali and I find it very easy to beat Akali on my own, without resolve and D shield akali isn't even viable if the enemy knows how to play against her in many matchups, also yeah akali can build to just take out one single target (belt, electrocute/fleet) build but there are better champs at that and it massively lowers her carry potential for teamfights so that has to be respected if you look for her lane power vs actual game impact

i hear ya, like the volibear matchup got super easy after his nerfs a while back. if anything, would you maybe do a video where you go through Tempest's sheet, because he has a decent one, but i feel like he downplays some of the matchups in terms of difficulty@@dzukill_lol

You are wrong here. I main yone in EUNE (gold elo) and everytim i play verus enemy akali, it very easy to kill it eaerly game because she lose 1v1 early yone rune is stronger with Q refund. Hopeful you can learn this matchup one day and kill the akali lvl1🙂big fan sebi

I hate akali. I won’t ever ban her because to be honest she really isn’t all that good in lane but she’s just so utterly annoying to lane against because she have the worst positioning known to man and still be completely fine in her shroud. So bogus.
