With many Mezco and Mafex 6" figures priced over $100, I'm not sure why a 1/6 figure with a Hot Toys "co-label" would be expected to be that low.

Threezero's GI Joe is around 150. Their stormshadow also offered rubber arms but it looks like HONO did a much better job in design and armature design. Their products also comes with a LOT of accessories. But I am glad that HONO is trying for the low price, although it's already at 175 with their second figure in.

I’ll be picking this one up and posing the crap out of it. I also have the black suit from Spidey 2 game coming from Sideshow. That looks fantastic.

The point of the swappable eyes was stylistic, one is made to match McFarlane's art, and one matches the Secret Wars comic displayed behind him. Style, not Expression.

Plastic hands not matching the suit material is the same for every Hot Toys Spider-Man. Spider-verse Miles and Scarlet Spider have cloth suits with plastic hands, so I wouldn't expect this to be any different.

Im all for Hono making comic accurate suits that look like fabric on purpose similar to how Alex Ross painting his Spider-Man and the fabric-y suit texture with the wrinkles and mouth silhouettes and the chrome eyes

Some of you kids never had the medicom rah symbiote spider and will change your tune when you actually get it in hand.

I would like to see a classic HONO Black Panther…I would be curious to a comic version of Falcon too

Sir you are correct on Spideys price point! I believe he should be 125.00 at the most! However it should’ve been Red & Blue Spider-man! However I feel you need to add more swap out eyes! I love the suit material is fabric so posing won’t damage suit! They should’ve screen printed that spider logo, or used something else because it definitely looks like that logo will crack and peel.

You guys are jokesters. Mezco is 1:12 scale and their figures are $95 on average. And I don’t think a single Hot Toys release has ever in existence come with more in the box than a Mezco drop has. So, why would you expect this Hono Spidey to be barely $20 bucks more expensive than a figure that it is three times the size of, in the recent Spidey Mezco priced at $95? Make it make sense. And there are licensing fees, shipping fees. You’re not getting any 1/6th scale figure, imported and sold to you for less than $150, it’s not happening. Not from Sideshow especially.

Wait wait, he commented on the feet joint and said they look nice, even though they’re exposed. But he can’t get over the hand/suit thing when every hot toys release of Spidey is the same thing but also the head sculpt is a diff material and he says nothing? Lmao

I'm a bit leary on this new line. I PO'ed the first two but I'm going to hold off on a proper red/blue spiderman. I think the reason they went with the black version is that they are still trying to push their Hot Toys comic spiderman. Customers would've been pissed if HONO offered the same suit for cheaper price.

I get some of the criticisms but I like the way the figure looks personally.

I'm tempted to try and get this as my first hot toys figure since, I can't seem to find a decently priced red and blue comic spiderman. But all I've heard is just negative stuff about this figure so idk if I should get it or not, personally the pajama look doesn't bother me since almost every superhero or villain looks like they're in pajamas anyways.

@FlipFlab yea you do have a point, personally it's very tempting for me to try and get since spiderman is my number 1 favorite superhero and I think it looks good for what it's trying to represent but on the fence about getting my first ever hot toy figure.

Hono Wolverine and thor was teased at the same time then magneto. Yet we still don't have any images for thor and spiderman's already up for pre order.

here's hoping that they will find a non-shiny black spandex to dress him in. I'd also prefer that they make the smaller eye pieces a bit smaller since they weren't always that huge in the books. I agree, they should have waited a bit to introduce this guy, let the demand for a black suit Spidey build up.

I think Black Suit Spider-Man in comic book's video Game's animated shows looks more stylish then the Red and Blue suit the black suit on this figure not so much I mean i Guess it's supposed to like the Spider-Man 2 PS5 Game but they could've Done better

You’re wrong man, this is exactly the stuff I want to buy. I don’t care about actor likenesses, I buy figures of Spidey. Not Tom Holland or whoever else. I want comic figures. And I want figures that can do more than stand in a museum pose. This Spidey is awesome, bring em all on Hono. I got all three drops so far. Keep it rolling.

This is a whole tier below hot toys/inart. Not even the same stratosphere. If you like it, great, power to you and this is the market for you. But this will look like trash next to any spidey hot toys.

Not sure why anyone would be taking a shit on this. You'll actually be able to pose it, you know, like spider man. Those rubber suit figures pose like ass.

I wish I liked this but I don't. Even for the price it looks cheap. This is more expensive than Wolverine yet it looks significantly worse. No detail whatsoever it's just a sock with some white on it. No muscle definition on the body showing through the suit.
