It is cheap, so the quality shouldn't be that high

As a figure customized, this is the dream figure to use as a project. I like the smaller build, and the sculpt is there if you ignore what’s going on with paint damage. I’d like to just take the shell of this thing, sand it down and repaint it, then either fit a brand new set of something like Revoltech joints or something that I fabricate with a 3D printer, and with a little elbow grease, I’ve just made one of the best Spider-Man figures ever without ruining a $120 art piece.

@@dariodavis56 you sand down figures if there's engraving on them, so it sits flat just in case you want to engrave your own cobwebs on the body Sanding it down also allows your paint to stick better to the figure

Real isn't in my price range, so Im glad the fake isn't that bad

After this review I took my chances and I purchased a ko. Honestly for the price and since I only have him in one pose it’s really worth the price since its difficult to get the original for a good price.

They made a 2.0 version that’s in scale but the Parker face is horrible and a lot of people say the arm falls out

The waist articulation gap on the bootleg is RIDICULOUS looking

I bought this a while back, not realizing it was a knockoff, and mine had problems. The box was a little crumbled like yours, but the figure was falling apart as I was taking it out the packaging. They gave me two left arms, so I had to bring out the glue to keep the 2nd left arm on the right shoulder. Mine also looks bow legged on the left side. I was so disappointed. I mean yours looks way better than mine.

Hello there Dexter yogi here I bought the bootleg mafex spider man but but the right arm falls off it will snap in but if I move the arm it will fall off What's the solution and how do I fix it

The torso connection to the abs affected the height... if you check the abs area it is much shorter coz the upper torso was connected way down low

If you dont mind me asking, where did you find the knock off? It looks perfect (for me of course, i personally like smaller figures that go to scale with my bigger figures)

Help! Orig VS Bootleg. How to tell a difference? I came by this guy on the local action figure internet flea market selling the reissue (metallic blue version) of Spider-Man 0.75. I wonder if it's fake or not. The knees look sorta weird, but can't really tell much else. The photos seller provided are below. Does the figure include any papers to confirm that it's a certified product? What details should I ask the seller for to make sure the thing is original? Would be grateful for assistance cause I'm being paranoid as fuf.

the height difference is the caves if it was longer it would be up to scale

What happened to gloves and it was made the sameday

Bought the KO last month and the legs fall off at the hips whenever I attempt to pose him in acrobatic poses. Fortunately Mafex just did a re-release of both comic Spidey and Venom, so was able to order both for $70 each!

It actually is. I've had mine for a year now only thing that came off was one of his feet and they became very loose but good thing they have extra feet.

I think you're expecting wayyyyyyy too much for a bootleg... I mean he is almost the same price as a marvel legends but he comes with a lot of accessories and i think it work well in the marvel legends scale

The first bootleg got was the bootleg civil war black panther version 1 and that one was pretty damn good. It has more accessories than the original and wasn’t a complete mess.

Just gotta say i watch allot of toy reviewers on KZread but i honestly enjoy your "this is not" series more than anything else i watch.. I buy alot of clones from aliexpress because i use them for acba and just simply don't have the money to get all the figures i want for photo ideas. Ive gotten quite a few ko's simply because ive watched your videos on them. Like others i don't necessarily support the idea of cloning some other companies hard work and creativity but in a world where it's hard just to pay rent and keep food in the fridge ko's are easy on the wallet and allow me to experience the next best thing down from the real ones. Found your channel the end of last year and so happy i did. Keep up the great content

Best purchase so far from aliexpress was the figuarts hulk ko.. I gave him a couple thin coats of matte clear acrylic and tightened up the lose ab crunch and he's totally money.. The matte finish makes him look real and the ab crunch was an easy enough fix worth some pledge and a small green elastic band insidethe torso to keep the joint from easily leaning forward. Best 20 dollar figure purchase thus far imo

It actually looks good, and considering it has no loose joints I'd say it's a great figure (it reminds me of the sloppiness toy biz figures had back in the day).
