@@Kushenable yea. Even though it is impressive for the numbers, I think many people could have won in the 1 vs 3 situation, the 3 enemy tanks just went up there 1 by 1 to get slaughtered, their aim was bad, decision was bad. T150 and even 3601 could have sidescraped also.

This battle is perfect example how muppets always stay alive to the end and best player on enemy team manages to kill them all.... WTF 1 by 1 crossing in front of him at the end 🤣

@@dmitriyzhukov9193 Truer words have rarely been spoken. It's even worse on console. The game finding enough of them to fill an entire team except one spot, that one spot being for you. So you have an entire team going to the worst place you could possibly go to on maps: The lowest ground to be shot like fish in a barrel, the most open area to be shot like sitting ducks. It's painful to watch. Literally difficult to play much worse.

Congrats to the KV player, this match belongs in a "WOT how to" text book, and congrats to QB for continuing to put out amazing WOT content after so many years.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY back in the day, I used to platoon with a buddy and use two Kv2s. One had 107 and other had derp. The 107 could cover the derp's reload and it was a devastating platoon.

Damn, I wish I got enemies like that

That ending was painful to watch. If any of those two last tanks had just gone for it and charged him, they could have tanked multiple shots and still gotten the killing shot in. And of course, if both had charged him together, that would have been almost impossible to counter.

I've been rocking the 107mm for a several years. I discovered it's not expected and that helps in many situations.

The KV could meet tier 9 when the game initially came out. I remember this distinctly. I once caught an IS4 that was AFK on the Abbey map and he let me put like 4 shots into his backside while he was AFK and I set him on fire and burned him to death with a tear 5 KV.

I’m pretty sure the 107 has slightly better stats on the kv-2 than on the t-150

This gun is the only one to use with this tank. The accuracy, pen and reload time are game savers.

Currently the right gun on kv2 the derp gun was better before. Now the 107mm gun is better almost in every situation. Only if the kv2 fights tier 4/5 tanks some tier 6 will the derp reach to its former glory. Kv2 now days plays most of the time vs tier 7 and 8 tanks and even a tiger 1 turret can fully absorb a kv2 he shell. The ap only has 130mm pen. The 107mm will do the same 300 damage as the he of the 152mm gun but it will do it far more often.

Great game in Not the KV-2........Hey QB, I have a suggestion to improve the game, maybe with your influence you could help get it to WG. SO new people struggle getting started with not having anything. What would you think if Clans had a "Clan MotorPool" (like a bank) we will call it. Clan member can deposit items into the Clan Motorpool like Reserves, equipment, consumables, ammo, modules, crew books and so on. Then clan members can withdraw items as needed, maybe limited to 3 items per day. It would be run by clan officers. This way Guys like myself who have extra of everything can deposit items and share them with clan mates. This would really help new people in getting started and clan members helping each other on a new level. What do you and the community think of this idea? Thanks and rock on Tankers.

I got my KV back in the early days, I remember getting the BIG turret and BIG gun, before the split into KV1 and KV2. But for years aftewards I'd mix up the guns, the 107 was a solid choice, but just not as much fun as the 152. Well, kinda sorta.... I think I'll revisit the 107 now and see how good it is (quite good it seems) post HE nerf, as I still play my KV2, but it's rarely as much fun these days! Excellent game marepbc, well done!

I totally understand this setup. I do it also but on my O-I. I don’t go for vision though but I don’t run the deep gun and actually got my first mark of excellence because of it.

I still vividly remember my KV derping 300hp from a Maus through a window on Komarin map...

It's good to play with unexpected guns on some tanks. Ran the 57mm on the kv1 and had great fun

I used to love using the 107mm on my KV-2 because people would ALWAYS miscalculate when they could pop out after I shot. They would even file complaints because I was 'hacking' because the boom stick should not be able to reload in less than 10 seconds.

Even when the HE gun was viable, I 3 marked the kv2 with the 107. With such a long reload it wasn't the best . 107 gun allowed me to play much more aggressive and consistently do damage

When I played this game years ago I figured out that with the derp gun I would usually do 300 splash damage so I changed to this gun instead which had a shorter reload.

My unorthodox fashions . . . *Pz. 38(t) n.A.* I use the 47mm main gun instead of the top 50mm gun -- you lose some alpha, penetration, and DPM but accuracy, rate of fire, and aim time are better . . . especially aim time. *Alecto* The top gun is the 25-pdr but I prefer the 3.7-in. for its better burst damage. *VK 16.02 Leopard* Most players prefer the 3cm 12-shot autoloader but I like the 5cm for its greater DPM and range, both real and effective. *AMX ELC bis* I use the 90mm or the top 75mm, as the mood strikes me (i.e. whether I want to mostly play it as a light or TD). The larger main gun offers significantly better xp and profit per battle; comparative xp (i.e. how well I did compared to other players on my team) is a little better too. *KV-1* I generally prefer to play my tanks at range so I prefer the _57mm project 413_ over the 122mm -- for me the derp gun just doesn't have the necessary accuracy. *Semovente M43 Bassotto* I'm still evaluating whether the 102 or 105mm is superior; so far after 14 battles each, on average the 102mm has done better on comparative and base xp per battle but the 105 is a better money maker.

Thats how I play it after the HE changes, its way more reliable when it comes to landing shots. Its not as fun as the 152 but I just play the KV2-R.

To be fair, with the HE rebalances, the 107 maybe more competitive then the 152 for the KV-2. At least the OI gets HEAT rounds for its' derp.

That gun at tier 6 is so good though. the T150 uses it as well and I love that tank

I never was fond of the 152 on the KV2, even before the HE changes. So after them, I did roll mine with the 107. Though, I did notice that it was.... I think worse in handling characteristics compared to the same gun on the T-150.

I've been away for 2 years due to ill health and the death of my mum, but my brother (and carer) has set up a computer for my bedside, and I'm slowly getting back in to the game. But apart from a great Hetzer game, I'm not the 53 percenter I used to be, but I hope to get better and play more games. Break the mental block!

That's the same gun I use. I also use coated Optics and gun rammer along with vents

I didn't use the derp on my KV-2 either and had a 57% win rate in it.

Never got why the KV-2 is used with the 107, since the T-150 definitely has better armor and better dpm with it.

I used to use the 107 on my kv2. The enemy see you fire then come around the corner thinking you are reloading only to find you have already got one in the breech and have given them 107mm of good news, then more as they try to reverse.

After the nerf i put the zis gun back on and my first game i ace'd it lol... love this gun!!

This is a masterpiece of a match by this guy

i play with 107 as well, a week ago ace it with 3k damage up against t6 and t7 consistent and more reliable

Brilliant game!

I have a "medium tank" alternate setup for my Su-130PM; muffler, turbo, and binocs. Basically picked it up off the NA streamer Smylee Rage.

I think QB would have mount a vision system in a KV2 in this configuration :D (just kidding, love the VS)

Guys try out the is, 3 ll, it is a hidden jem at tier 9, so so good, can switch its gun from normal, 2 burst, or 2 shells at once, armor isn't that bad if hull down or side scrapping, only problem I'd say is view range and maybe pen, other then that it's my favorite beast

I use the 107 on my KV2. You surprise some players who still sit in from of you "knowing" that you have a 24-second reload when I really reload in 9.05 seconds. The same thing with my Hetzer, I use the high pen gun.

I personally love both the gun choices on the kv2, and use both equally. I just wish that secondary equipment load outs allowed you to change which gun you are using depending on the mm, since I prefer the derp at lower tiers. Derp is amazing for low tiers and decent at high tiers while the 107mm is decent at low tiers and is more consistent at high tiers.

I remember every match some assholes would question me why I would have the 107mm gun. This was at a time when I just bought the KV-2 and to research the turret and gun.

I also prefer 107 mm instead of 152 mm since it has a good penetration and much less reloading time ( I reduced it to 8 secs)🙂🙂 as compared to 23 secs

Back in time I used to see tier 10s on my old KV-2. And only way to deal damage to tiers 10 was to get 152mm gun

What is next? Showcasing a t49 with the 90mm?

The T5 KV could see tier 9. If I recall it was +-4 MM back then when the game came out.

Actually seeing way more people using the 107mm instead of the 152mm gun. Makes sense after WG completely RUINED the HE rounds. Now when I see a KV2, with the stubby gun, on the opposing team, I just think: "There's some easy damage I can farm". But, at the same time, I feel a little sad to see the glorious KING OF THE DERP, reduced to a pathetic shell of it's former self. It was always my go-to tank if I was having a bad run, but after the disgusting nerf, it's never been the same and I reluctantly sold it in the end. Watching it only do 30dmg on anything with some form or armour was just too soul destroying to watch. RIP KV2. You were beautiful.

One thing that his loadout has....misdirection. Everyone thinks he has the derp, but he certainly does not.

Kv-1S at tier 6 was op before the nerf too. Also, kv2's base reload is faster than t150's with 107mm

Why would you use this gun on the KV2 if the T150 can use the same gun, and doesn't have the oversized turret?

Ever since they nerfed HE I've been using the 107 with much better results. Yeah, I get a lot of remarks for not using the derp gun, but that all stops when they see me rack up the damage.

I have 3MOE on the KV-2 with the 152mm only but, 2 MOE on the KV-2R but, when I see the 107 it just disgusts me

It’s the kv2 zis6 They fitted a zis6 cannon in a kv2 to test the cannon Russians used sometimes used kv2 as a test platform for a gun because of the huge interior space in the turret

Damn i remember when i first got my KV at tier 5, wonderful moment, probably 10years ago, and i thought T-28 was beast, KV was a whole another monster with 107mm ZiS. Didnt enjoy KV-3 so much, IS was awesome, IS-3 also, but then IS-4 on tier 9 was probably the crown jewel

Amazing QB - I use that gun now - since they proper nerfed HE :(

Sadly bigger probably isn't better anymore. Since now if you derp a tier 8 heavy in the face you're gonna do like 0-20 splash instead of 250-350 like before HE Change. Only reason to play 152mm now is for nostalgia pretty much. Now days 107mm is sadly way better.

I used to use the ZIS 107 back in the day when you could use either turret and gun. Much better playability but nowhere near as funny as the Derp was.

Btw, 3Marking a KV-2 with the 107 must be a interesting challenge.

KV-2 actually has better RoF than T-150, one of the perks of using the oddball gun.
