Ryan Butler, If I don't see your name in the GMs eventually, I will be very disappointed
I love it when you explain the best stockfish move and then bring us to reality: "The best move here for black is to move the rook, to pin the pawn to create a classic triangle." But obviously it didn't happen, so instead black moves the queen and hangs mate in one! "🤣🤣🤣
That was a nice mate. I recognize my own blunders here: first, missing a free piece because you are following a prior plan of attack, and then forgetting your prior plan of deflection/promotion because your secondary plan (connected passed pawns) was attacked. It slips your mind that the secondary plan was itself a deflection. It's very difficult to keep various lines of attack present and organized in your mind so as to see their intersection and the weak points within the position. Once you start weaving these plans together, you will find the beauty in complexity, or, in other words, become a conspiracy theorist. It is important to note that, while your opponent may not actually be conspiring at the same level, it is safest to assume it is so, and so protect yourself.
When you pause the game and actually predict the right move
So many blunders, my man levy came out of bathtub....

No one makes chess funnier and enjoyable than you do. Love your content Levy
Edit: upon further inspection, I saw the king could go to F7. Though forcing him out like that seems like a very good idea nonetheless, for instance QG6 check. King’s only legal move is E7. Since I’m not that good at chess I can’t find very many moves after that, but I see it could possibly be beneficial. During the endgame, where Black’s king was stuck in the top right corner of the board, I noticed QH7. Obviously, in an actual match i was playing I wouldn’t have a hope in hell without taking at least 1 minute to eventually find it. But, then I noticed that stockfish didn’t register that as a mate in one. And I’m very confused why. Because, QH7 is defended by the bishop in D3, if the queen were to move to H7, there are no pieces or moved to remove check, therefore making checkmate. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think that’s actually counted as a great/brilliant move if the engine itself doesn’t see it. But if it isn’t then I know nothing about chess.
Those 900s need to go confess to a priest after this shit.
This game it´s not so bad. Similar to my attacking games. I feel proud of my game, I turn on the analysis, 5 inaccuracies, 3 mistakes, 2 blunders, one opportunity lost

This is how a person looks nerdy and muscular at the same time.
The fact that this game stayed equal for 11 minutes without any major blunder is actually quite rare in this series, those guys have hope in chess.
You may agree or not but this game was really a level above 900. The moves they played( especially white ) to allow the pawns to be pushed is appreciable. They were playing like 1300-1400.

The King walk up the board and the Pawn mate was the one redeeming moment of this otherwise remarkably, geniusly bad game
18:02 a funny line (it's a blunder if black takes your rook first but run with it) for white here would be taking the bishop on d7 with the pawn - oh no my queen, rook takes rook check, king goes to h7 and then bishop g8 king h8 is forced, bishop f7 with discovery from the rook and after the king goes to h7 again - bishop g6 which would be mate but there's a queen defending but you still win the queen and are up an exchange and soon a full rook once you promote on d8 and the bishop on g5 is forced to sac itself
