This encouraged me so much. I'm very young and I have been raised in church as well. I was an mk, of the upci, in a communist country, and I found myself cold to God in my preteens and later in my very early teens almost falling into porn while still being in church, already baptized in the name of Jesus, receiving the Holy Ghost and having encounters with God. But He never let me fall. He was always right there. Hallelujah!

This is sorely needed in the church.. people being real and admitting their shortcomings and addictions. Too many times, leaders don’t want to admit their backsliding and sins. Thank you

kerry6499 Perhaps, (& I could be in error/wrong,) those "leaders" & in the LIGHT 🕯️🚨 of the HOLY SCRIPTURES, I, after what I personally experienced, prefer to refer to the 5 fold ministry, regardless of office/position as stewards (managers/supervisors/overseers/watchman 1 Cor 4:1-2, etc) in contrast or in opposition to the term/word "leader" & I will attempt to explain to you why. I think that the usage of the term leader can invite/initiate, in some cases, the 5 fold ministry becoming LIFTED UP in heart ❤️ &/or soul 🧠 with HAUGHTY, HEADY, HIGH-MINDED PRIDE & he or she or they can end up engaging intentionally or unintentionally in seeking to LORD OVER members of the Spirit of Almighty GOD' S BODY CONTRARY to 1 Peter 5:3, 1 Cor. 11:3, & even Romans 13:1-2. When this occurs, their soul(s) &/or hearts ❤️ (spirits, consciences) end up expressing behavior(s) & words speech CONTRARY to Jeremiah 3:15, etc & instead of manifesting, displaying & expressing behavior(s) in conduct & conversation of seeking to GENTLY FEED to sheep and lambs with knowledge & understanding of GOD'S HOLY WORD 📖, instructing, directing, guiding, counseling, training & discipling them through the FRUITS 🥑🍍🍉🍒🍓 of HIS Spirit, they instead act &/or speak BRITISHLY, engaging in NOT seeking to be spiritual authorities & ensamples to the flock, but instead rather, they misuse/abuse their Spirit given anointed authority & engage in seeking to MANIPULATE, COERSE, DOMINATE, & DICTATORIAL CONTROL the SOUL 🧠 of the saints under their charge as STEWARDS, & are found weighed in the balances & found wanting & GUILTY of what the prophet Ezekiel speaks about in Ezekiel 34: 1-10!!!!!!!! Without rehashing the HEINOUS, HIDEOUS, AGONIZING, ABOMINABLE, ATROCIOUS, TORTUROUS, TORMENTING, TREACHEROUS details & to AVOID being guilty myself of SOWING DISCORD/DIVISION/DISUNITY/SCHISM, I know of one young man who had EFFECTUAL, FERVENTLY PRAYED & SACRIFICIALLY FASTED in ACCORDance & ALIGNMENT/AGREEMENT with BOTH the HOLY WORD 📖 & SPIRIT of our LORD JESUS CHRIST via ACTS 13:2-4, Isaiah 40:13-14, John 14:26, John 16:13, etc., was straightforwardly honest, forthright, & truthful with a shepherd, shepherd's wife & their youngest daughter, & he REASONED in his thoughts and feelings that they could be TRUSTED to be speaking forth the TRUTH to him in UNFEIGNED LOVE & PEACE & that we had entered into a VERBAL COVENANT, being as ONE HEART & ONE SOUL, being of the SAME MIND (CHRIST JESUS') & SAME JUDGEMENT, but they were NOT & they instead MISUSED/ABUSED their "spiritual authority" & imposed their human spirits ❤️ &/or souls 🧠 authority upon this very gentle, meek, sensitive, respectful young man UNJUSTLY in the LIGHT of 1 Cor. 9:5, 1 Cor 11: 3, 8, 9, Genesis 3:16, Genesis Chapter 24, & a whole host of other witnesses from the HOLY SCRIPTURES, & in effect SUPERCEDE the Spirit of Almighty GOD'S AUTHORITY & HINDERED, IMPEDED, BLOCKED, & LITERALLY PREVENTED this young man from OBEYING the RHEMA/LOGOS VOICE of the HOLY GHOST 👻 because they gave place to & actually supported, endorsed & approved of their daughter's engagement in DEFIANT, OBSTINATE, OBSCENE, STUBBORN, BRAWLING & CONTENTIOUS OBURDRACY, USURPTION & possibly even a portion of REBELLION through a STIFF-NECKED, HAUGHTY, HEADY, SCORNFUL, UNLOVING, UNWILLINGNESS to SUBMIT & SUBJECT herself to her head, this young man, who was just trying to QUIT himself as that man child of Almighty God, but she DEFIANTLY REFUSED to keep her word & GOD'S WORD 📖 because she didn't want to be led, but rather she wanted to be THE HEAD OVER this man & that is CONFUSION (& the Spirit of Almighty God is NOT the author of it) nor did He ORDAIN that a WOMAN should RULE over a man!!!!!!!!!! (ISAIAH 3:12, 1 COR. 9:5, EPHESIANS 5:24, TITUS 2:5, 1 PETER 5:5, HEBREWS 13:17) A so called "leader" who is UNWILLING &/or TOO PROUD to HUMBLE himself or herself is NOT FIT, in the LIGHT 🚨 of the HOLY SCRIPTURES, to engage within or continue to engage within the work of the MINISTRY because GOD, who is that Spirit of UNFEIGNED, PURE LOVE, resisteth the PROUD, but giveth GRACE unto the HUMBLE!!!!! & furthermore, he or she who COVERETH his (or her) SINS (hides them &/or REFUSES to acknowledge, CONFESS & FORSAKE them unto our LORD JESUS CHRIST &/or towards his or her brother through GENUINE REPENTANCE) SHALL NOT PROSPER, but whoso confesseth & forsaketh them shall find MERCY (Proverbs 28:13!!!!!!)

Wow powerful testimony. So thankful for the awesome caring people around me at the UPCI church I attend in Grand Rapids. Mine was being filled with the Holy Ghost after spending years in the religiosity of Roman Catholicism. The Apostolic church is special and they have a power that no other church has, just the Infilling of the Holy Ghost. And the gifts of the Spirit and that 1 cor 13 love
