Yeah this happened to me once too when my cat used to be a semi-outdoor kitty. But the cat ran away as soon as he saw me and my cat wasn’t even at home I believe lol

@@ethelredhardrede1838 Neutered male cats still like to sniff. Before my 17 year old female cat passed away my neutered male cat used to always bother her trying to sniff. And she was also spayed. Natural instincts still ultimately kick in at the end of the day.

@@IK_4 Sniffing is a cat thing so is spraying for a whole male OR if the gelded male was neutered late. The situation in the video was about spraying. Its not likely that a neutered male will spray. When they do, the urine does not have the same odors as a whole male but again, its not likely that the neutered male would spray at all. Now if the cat had been a whole male the situation would be quite different. AND it could be a bit hazardous to handle the cat as well. Handling any strange cat require care, handling a strange whole male requires even more care and maybe leather gloves. Heavy leather gloves. There was a whole male in an area I used to live that scared everyone but the owner and me. I was sitting next to that rather large part Siamese and the owner warned me about him. I said that I was aware and we managed to get along. I know what not to do and what watch for. Cats usually give warnings. IF I had to handle that cat while it was angry I would have wanted tongs. Gloves, only if they were plate mail.

My neighbor's cat liked to visit by the window too. He talked to my cat. That's a beautiful visitor. It knows Cookie is cute.❤😻

We had a kitten that we found under our window, took him in, he was indoor and outdoor. Hed be gone for hours never thought anything of it. About a year or so later he was getting super fat and I randomly saw him going into a neighborhoods house, the lady called him some werid name and he trotted right in her door. I never felt more used. 😆 but he stayed with us for 14 years so guess we were alright lol.

@@LillyMunster85 My family had a female cat that appears to have had another home as she would sometimes be gone for a few days and then she'd return. Probably happens a lot in areas where people can still let their cats outside.

Far too well-groomed and shiny of a coat for the average feral or stray. I don't exactly like people just letting their cats go around outside unsupervised (they're very dangerous to the environment, though at least if they're neutered they won't contribute to the overpopulation of strays), however this kitty is exceptionally pretty and obviously well cared for.

@@thecringeprince2040 If you kill the dominant pair of coyotes, all of the females go into heat and the long-term result is more coyotes. Our last indoor-outdoor cat died four years ago. (During the last few years of his life, he only was outside when his 85-pound bodyguard was with him. Unfortunately, she couldn't protect him from cancer.) All of our 3 are indoor-only I don't think they have coyotes in England, though.

@@thecringeprince2040 one of them is a wild animal that lives there naturally, the other is an animal that really doesn't live in the wild in that specific area and are overbred by humans and often may not be neutered. Plus like another comment stated, killing off coyotes actually tends to cause more issues with coyotes trying to breed MORE.

I used to live with an awesome lady cat that hated when neighboring cats came over, but she was lovely so they kept coming. I forsee that problem in Cookie's life hehe.

He is checking the place to see if he wants to adopt you 😂 "hm, clean floor, food on the table, need to do the dishes but it's ok, looks nice"

😂 They can sense animal friendly houses and people I think. I have a little cat that comes visit me every day. She knows she's safe... And I give her food. She's a sweetie.

Awww you were blessed with such a cute visitor. My cat was meowing at my elderly neighbors door and so he let him inside. He walked around and had a look then slept on his bed for a few hours lol. My neighbor loved him ever since.

My cat also goes into other people's homes although my cat is a little more intrusive than this and will eat other cat's food. He only has three legs though so everyone is overly sympathetic even though it really makes no difference to him.

I'm happy people are chill there, here some shoot or poison outdoor cats.

I remember one of my friend's uncles had this black cat that would hang around outside... we all thought it was a stray for the longest as it had all kinds of scars, scabs, and was a little unkempt. They didn't want to let it in as they couldn't afford it. But one day we came to find out it had an owner but spent like all it's time over there instead... I was always told, you don't pick the cat but rather the cat picks you. This seems to be a case of that.

This reminds me of Porch Cat, the little calico that would come hang out with me while I smoked cigarettes on my front porch. Melinka was her name we learned, unfortunately not until she had gone missing and a poster was put up though. I always wondered what happened to her, but I am fairly confident she got stolen by someone after making her way into their house -- she had no qualms about trying to follow you inside after you were done smoking a butt. Great cat, miss you porch buddy

There was a feral cat that lived around me. I named him Harry, lol. I used to feed him, and became friends with the critter. It was cold one day, so I opened up the back door and told him if he wanted to live inside, to go down the the basement. He just walked in, down the stairs, and made himself at home. Unfortunately, he had FiV, so couldn't keep him, but was able to re-home him, where he lived the next two years with a loving human before he passed. I did my job, lol...

Some people say cats don't understand us, but I do believe they choose to hear what they want to hear 😂 One day my cat had a really stinky bowel movement, and when she came out of the box I looked at her and told her to go cover it up better. She legit went back into her box and covered it lol (I scoop daily, at night before bed)

I have one that visits my home too. He comes in the cat door just like my kitty! He is of course welcome! I put out his favorite snacks, which strangely my cat doesn't like!

For millennia people lives in small tight knitted communities where it was normal for a few cats to be basically owned by the entire town or community inside a town and have them run around everywhere and have everyone help keep them clean and fed. I think many cats adapted to that just like dogs adapted living between humans in the best way that is possible for their abilities. So my oppinion is if it likes to visit just let it visit. If it likes your more than his owner then I am sure their might be reasons for the cat for that to be the case. In any way no worries, animals lives are often hard enough so we can help them out a bit

When i was a kid, this very cute fluffy cat suddenly came to my house, refuse to leave and became our cat. Months later, we found out that it was actually our neighbour's cat (we live in a village so the houses are quite far apart). She ran away because her original owner also had pet snake, i guess she was scared of the snake.

Rest in my yard . Her real mum was my neighbour over the road . The neighbour and Bo moved and I missed both . So, that is how my own cat Millie came into my life. As a replacement.

He looks well enough taken care of, it's probably just the neighbour's cat. Cats only really have a concept of where the neighbourhood cat territories begin and end, and a very social and confident cat will happily waltz into any house that's within it's territory to say hello to whoever lives there, since it's just another house on their territory. Hopefully this person's cat shares a territory with this friendly kitty and is on good terms with it, because this is the kind of stuff that can lead to stress, insecurity and spraying otherwise. This kitty probably just wanted to get away from the rain for a little bit, so decided to pop in to say hello lol.

If it's entering your home like that then it's probably a neighbor's or abandoned. Either way, it's a rather pleasant visit. Edit: just read the desc, apparently it wasn't a pleasant visit.

But... but... he COULD be your cat!! He seems to be saying that he's now accepting applications for a hooman fwend who provides treats and cuddles.

At my last place I had a makeshift 'kitty door' set up in my window that let out onto the porch so my cats could got in and out as they pleased. (Of course, this was only open when I was home, especially since I once spotted a raccoon trying to go in!) One afternoon I was sitting at my computer and I see movement at the window. So I turned to see which kitty it was and realize...it's not one of mine (or the neighbor's who was welcome.) As I turn the strange cat locks eyes with me, and I just said 'Um...excuse me?' Then the cat just turned right around and left. lol

I love the turn to the window, like, "Oh what's that out there? Wow! You should really look at that and not me!"
