Yeah, one minute in and I'm already feeling nauseated. The camera/animations between looting also feels... off(?) someway. Might be that the character is so far off to the side in view. Both of those could be fixed though (skip looting animations and have the character centered), so perhaps devs can fix it.

never thought this movie of all movies would get a game but seems cool but needs some quick bugfix patches

It looks like the Evil Dead game, but without a huge map you can't play alone without friends or play as a killer without spending 20 minutes looking for survivors... Maybe it's cool, but I don't see how they would keep the game interesting for a long time without introducing new clowns and survivors that were super interesting.

Honestly looks really fun for a little while will probably fall off though

zoom in looting and that slurping while drinking put me off from ever touching this game

It’s amazing, actually a work of art

So, the Survivors CAN kill Klowns, but only temporarily. Survivors are finite if they're all killed at once, or all hooked up as cotton candy. Because you can't just "Beat" the klowns outright with brute force, this is very different from VHS or F13. The teamwork aspect is similar to TCM, the combat is like VHS and F13, and the main goals are a mix of DBD and TCM. For Survivors, you just want to escape any way possible. For Klowns, you want to get as many hooks as possible, or kill off all remaining stragglers once you've hooked to a manageable level of survivors to be able to kill them all at once. Illfonic learned from all the different asyms and built upon it, and I'm so far proud of what they've achieved. Since the role of Survivor and Klown is so loose, they can *easily* make new ones and it won't need to 'be accurate to the films' or something arbitrary. They can just go wild with it, and that's great. If you're a "Bully the Killer" kinda player, this game isn't for you, as in your trolling you will run out of resources as a Survivor and get shit on. If you channel that energy into fulfilling your destined role as a Klown though, you'll find great success, much as you do in real life.

Looks cool, and I’m sure it’ll have an audience for ppl that like games like Friday 13th, but personally I’d rather stick to DBD. I’ve already wasted too much money on games like Evil Dead and TCM, for there to be no future.

I hope this lasts for a year plus. Genuinely looks like a fun time if its managed properly and people still play.

This reminds me of Vicious Circle... I miss that game... although that game was super repetitive

I don't think this game will last very long. Unless its just insanely fun, I don't think the niche IP is gonna keep this afloat singlehandedly

I dont feel confident this game will last long. The main gameplay loop seems ok but not super interesting. The level up system doesnt seem good enough to keep players playing for long. Overall i think it needs a lot of work or else it wont ever gain popularity.

And the part where you have to release the survivor reminds me of dbd bc you gotta save a survivor off the hook but except it takes longer

It looks okay but I feel it will last not too long. If the survivors/humans can kill the Klowns then expect this to go like TCM where Klowns get bullied and stop playing.

As someone who played the game a bit, it doesn’t feel like that at all tbh. Honestly feels as if both sides can bully each other depending on the skill of the player and/or what items they have.
