Watching the small glimpses of his backup dancers, musicians, back up singers all watching him in awe almost brings me to tears. The crazy part is he was Michael Jackson to us, but even to his co-workers he was THE KING. They all are watching their hero perform the dance moves they studied as a kid right in front of their eyes. They are watching him as if they bought tickets to his show, and it's a beautiful thing to see.

Less than 48 hours. This was on his last rehearsal on June 24th how do I know? Because when he did a sound check for Man in the mirror he said goodbye to all of his dancers and singers and he gave them a little motivational speech before ending the rehearsal and moving to London. Actually made me cry 😭 watching this.. He was put under too much pressure, too many show date’s, they obviously knew about his health conditions., so sad he was a puppet of the industry in the end betrayed by the people that “made him”. He is iconic & lives on eternally through his music as they’ll never be another 💘

yeah, and with the right preparation, workouts, this tour would have probably saved his life.. cause isolation and not performing, I am sure, made his condition that bad. combined with the abuse claims. making new music, performing, it is all healthy and good, but not with the preparation propofol and barely eating... partly this was his fault too. the doc did what he was paid for, and MJ was a drug addict with money. this tour needed him getting clean, and switch that drug taking with something natural, sport, etc. to get his sleep again. but I guess it is a difficult life being him and doing simple things like going out and stuff. too many yes sayers. he would have needed somebody kicking his ass, and getting him out and move. like, good friends or something. seems like nobody did that, or he himself blocked this from happening. I also think that most people thought of him as a great musician, wanted to work with him, had "respect", but at the same time hiding the fact that they thought that he is a child abuser. not very cool. Iam sure that this made making music difficult for him.

His body never forgot the moves, amazing muscle memory. The way the press described him, he was hobbling across the stage with a walker and barely knew where he was. The actual footage shows him hyper-aware of music cues, song pitch, choreography, and direction. I think he pulled a Willie Wonka. The rehearsal is spellbinding. The live show would have blown the roof off.

Gene Wilder, as Willie Wonka played a trick when meeting guests to the Chocolate Factory. He pretended to be an ill, infirm, barely functional arthritic man who used a cane to walk. Then, SURPRISE! He tucks and rolls across the floor and jumps up healthy and vigorous. I believe he did it to lower expectations, then far exceed expectations.

he was quite emaciated and unwell during this period but what’s amazing is that his rhythm and flexibility is still ALL THERE. It’s very surprising. Most dancers lose a the limberness over time his looks like the same as when he was a younger man. He was rehearsing here and not giving his all but the feeling in his dance is intact. A shame we didn’t get to see these concerts. RIP MJ.

He agreed to do only 10. He only did this because he wanted to buy the 55million dollar house for his children and his guards weren't getting paid unless he signed to do this. I'm so sad. Michael was only human and he wasn't treated like one.

@@victoiremvl I heard he was infuriated when they jacked it up to 50 shows. But he was in financial ruin, so 10 shows wouldn't have been enough to cover him financially. AEG even had to threatened him saying that he would lose everything if he pulled the plug on the tour, because he already wasn't showing up to rehearsals. His son Prince claimed that he would constantly tell him "they're going to kill me" on many occasions..He would show up to rehearsals with layers of clothes because he would be ice cold due to the drugs and lack of proper sleep
