Its need proper DSP tune after 1 month installation because all audio system has reach "brake in phase" then maximum experience of the system can be reached From clarity , staging focus bass controll etc Nice video btw your voice is so clear

Ive never owned a bmw i just purchased one an have no sound coming out my speakers an my amplifier look just like these an i checked all fuses already

Hey fritz, so my m235i under seat subwoofers. Just stopped working and no audio shop will mess with it and just haven’t had the time to really drop my car off at the dealership. By chance do you have any idea what it could be? Just both subs stopped working at once. Thanks for any input

I've seen on forums that unfortunately this is quite common of the stock subs to blow if listing to music to high or having the EQ set to high. Some said they stopped working suddenly but then started working again after the car was shut off for some time. Seems like BMW is aware of this issue as well.

The question I have that I cannot find the answer without experiencing it. I have Hi-Fi system on my M240i and ordered underseat subwoofers and this new amp. Will it be enough? Will the sound be stronger and more clear then OEM H&K (let's say listening to Electronics songs)? Will I need to replace the door speakers?

It’s expensive for sure but 6 channel amps are expensive period and this one is plug and play.. if you try to put a new amp into a bmw for the speakers (which are underpowered in every sound option) you need a wiring harness that you could only get from one dude within a bmw blog. The harness for sale on different sites didn’t work. I did a complete speaker upgrade on my 2009 335xi 4 door. The high speaker setup hasn’t changed much since then..but what I learned is that changing the speakers didn’t improve the sound.. you can add bass but there was never any mids.. and no matter what you did there was never going to be mids. It’s the sound design period. So, having said that.. if you want a lot more umph to your sound just get the amp.. it’s brings the sound a step up for sure

Hey Fritz, any recommendations if my F22 doesn’t have an amp to begin with? My car came with the base system, I upgraded the hardware (speakers) but it ultimately didn’t do much as my car didn’t come with HK speakers and amp. In the boot, my car just have that small component which is facing upwards in your video (You referred to it as ASD)

Vibe makes a "powerbox" amplifier with plug & play harness to bmws, including your base audio bmw. It is not as powerful as this one though.

Sheesh 1k for a amp. Buy a Dinan exhaust instead and hear amplified n55 ear p@rn instead 😂

Damn, I thought upgrading my audio system on audi was expensive which was 800Eur in total for everything... But since I'm interested in getting myself a BMW E91 and I know that these cars do have some issues in regards to audio quality, looking at these prices they are kind of pushing me away. 1220$ for whole speaker set, 1449$ for amp only is kind of ridiculous but you pay for the plug&play feature that bimmer-tech provides with everything in this system.

I agree with you but what did you end up going with. Plus for the money you would spend on the speakers and amplifier in total. You can get away better sound system going to an audio shop. What I mean by that is they can customize it to what you listen to and stuff.

Have you seen the price of that thing ? No way would I pay that what a rip off oh it's for a Bmw double the price !!

Let’s just say if you own a bmw, you probably won’t have a problem shelling that cash for the upgrade. Especially when nobody will touch the bmw systems because they can’t. They are plug n play and worth it. That is… if you actually care about the quality of music. If you don’t well keep complaining lol any other system installed to upgrade will cost you a lot more than what this costs. I guarantee that. It’s all about perspective. I’d say all those cokes and energy drinks are a waste of money too. 😂

Obviously all you guys complaining about the price have never performed any real car audio upgrade; 1K for a 7 channel Amp is in line with other AMPs from other manufacturers. My advice, if you don’t have the money to spend on upgrades, buy the car with the HK upgrade from the factory; it’s an above average system for almost no money. Second, the Match 7BMW Amp is a couple hundred dollars cheaper and is basically the same AMP

I have the HK and it's garbage, hence why I'm here watching this video 😅 the amp has been reduced in power compared to previous generations of cars, so HK is no longer premium. The new RAM module means compatibility is a nightmare too. Bimmertechs new Up10 is the only one capable, and that plus a boot sub is going to set me back roughly £2k. The HK is that crap that I'm now just figuring out how to make the spend work - I can't cope with it anymore.

@@matthale5526 I have an M340 with the H/K system; I disagree that’s it’s garbage. I recently added a LOC and mono amp with a sub in the trunk; it made a tremendous difference because now I don’t have to push the under seat mid base drivers to get true range and the equalizer allows me to tune the system overall. I spent $600.00. I also just bought a used 228 that came with the base HiFi system; that system is crap. So, I replaced the amp with a match-up 7BMW and a sub amp with a JBL dual 10 box in the trunk and had it professionally tuned. That upgrade cost about $3,700.00 and it is the best sounding car stereo I’ve ever had and I’ve had many/heard many. The secrete is in the tuning. So, with both systems, my m340 sounds 80-90% as good as my tuned car; the difference is the sound stage and clarity that is impeded by the center channel. The question is how much do you want to spend and how important is quality sound for the price.
