hmm ill try to give you an answer that doesn't just apply to this game, try to ask yourself if you can get full top tower or not, if the answer is yes going top is always worth if not controlling map through mid is easier

I think Nautilus didn't take tower aggro because his hook damage went through before he yeeted himself into tower range and he didn't damage the Rell otherwise
