One thing ive enjoyed adding to my tc griefs is a small box with a rf pager inside. ill then have that frequency set permanently on so the beeping never stops. the sound emitted is part of game volume so isolating that sound will cause you to lose all game sounds

Solo here, I usually place tens of landmines around unfavoured bases. I then stand next to one with a bag close by and then farm wood with a rock. They kill me, get blown up, and then I respawn to collect their kit.

Griefing is one of the few tools spiteful solos have to get back at toxic clans sometimes. Though on the flip side it's REALLY really easy for clans to grief smaller groups with their near limitless resources it can be hella toxic. It's not unusual to see full AK kit people raiding wood doors just to despawn the loot and laugh at the person inside so I think often they have it coming when someone places a TC on their doorstep.

The beautiful thing about griefing is that to do it well you have to commit to it and invest time; and that’s one thing clans and zergs ain’t got time for, they’d rather pvp. A solo griefer is a clan builders nightmare, because the pvpers won’t take the griefer seriously and he will give the clans builder PTSD.

I've played way to much rust so I don't usually learn things from rust videos, but the horse eating plants through walls is something I never thought to do. I'm going to have to make use of that sometime. You've earned the like and sub keep it up man.

love this video format and topic. you could totally turn it into a series with various raiding tips like weak sides and uncommon cost efficient ways to raid and such.

Someone watchtower-griefed my base because they thought I tried raiding them when it was actually some other clan 😂 I was honestly impressed with the dedication tho, there were around 100-150 watch towers + floor spikes + tcs

@@chrisjiang9074 I’ve been using this against toxic groups quiet often and never got to hear that u can mute it. I also tried to find a way how to bug couldn’t find one so I’m pretty sure it’s not possible. BUT... it turns off on some servers I think cuz of the restart or something for example rustafied and reddit but I would still say it’s worth it

Salt water makes the planter have 0 water. Fresh water adds water to the planter.

set a circuit with a timer every 5 or n minutes that activates igniters, the igniters need to ignite for just a second or less, problem solved.

Spotlight grief?

I agree with everything except the disclaimer at the end. Grief away my primlocked friends. For griefing is the only counter spell that is effective against zergs.

Think about it this way, inconveniencing zergs as much as possible is almost fully fair game imo.

Now pls thé counterpart of this video : how to prevent all griefs possible on you ! I am very friendly in rust, but if the person is toxic I can be 10 times worse than them. But before being toxic and grief, I want to be sure they can’t do anything back to me :) (Not losing my loot to them is already handled with building strats, only looking for anti grief tips here ^^)

from what I know, you can place a spotlight on a roof with a timer circuit, blinking spotlight surely will annoy them

Sprinklers + snow machine is also a nice combo... Sprinkler will make them wet, and snowmachine can freeze wet people to a slow death... Its also nice to place them next rivers or so

I feel no remorse making rust life harder for people who deserve it. Griefing clans/large groups/roofcampers is ethical and no one can change my mind. Actions have consequences, even if done in petty ways. Maybe next time some luke-warm IQ player walks out of his front door and sees the metal TC pylons around his base he will think twice before roof camping his solo neighbor.

Completely disagree with rust being unfair.

A lot of people use rust as an escape from their real lives which may be troubled or really shitty. As a result rust may be the only bit of joy that they get out of life, griefing destroys their fun and all their hard work that they have put into the game and reminds them of how shitty their actual lives are. Which is exactly why I highly encourage door camping, bush camping, roof camping, griefing and grubbing in general. #stay toxic kings
