It’s really good for the right foot.
Seems more likely you'll break the sticky out , big plastic dial on a rock, tree branch, lift or when you fall. I know its designed to come off, but it is still a plastic casing.

Yeah, I’ve seen one or two with small cracks, one broken broken, not bad. Cable is what people are always worried about on snowboards, skis, less so
