I didn't know that the mission to turn your capital trade good to gold was overpowered. I thought it was set to Lubeck, not your capital, so Dalaskogen is OP. Kinda like Bavaria's mission to make Munich a trade hub.
One thing I like abut your videos is that you explain the trade setup very well. I understand trade better now.

With the Danes and Scandinavia mission tree you can actually promote mercantilism for 36 points (with 100 innovation and gold age though) which is close to nothing! all thanks to the province conditional modifiers in Scandinavian trade centers in Lubeck node.

Did a Lubeck run myself last night, the new mission tree seems daunting due to its size and complexity but in reality I completed pretty much all of it in one 6 or so hour session outside of the Prussian land ones (I'll need to wield Austria like a cudgel against my ally the Commonwealth at some point, 15% morale permanently is very good for an otherwise trade focused nation).

The Protestant also give temporary bonuses that are pretty strong, I'd say most namely -10% construction cost, 10% manpower in true faith provinces, and I think it was 10% warscore cost against other religions, for 10 years so it's pretty easy to have enough church power to constantly have those affects, it's just not particularly easy to tell when the effect has expired. Combine that with generally more variation in the bonuses so you'd want to vary it more, and it makes actually interacting with the religion a lot more worth it, like with the papal curia interactions. Also goods produced modifier in your capital could go even higher if you tried to concentrate baltic sea trade power (i believe the capital is there) into the trade companies you have in Prussia etc. Even a small amount gives like +20% modifier throughout the whole trade node, which is pretty much the same as free prosperity goods produced modifier. And you can get the flat modifier and other bonuses from the trade company buildings.

1. Protestant - where it is visible? I didnt see it pointed out clearly 2. Trade company - I have a big trade company in baltics (pretty much everything in eastern europe). That gives me +33% goods produces modifier already

Жыл бұрын
@@ZlewikkTV 1. If you hover over the Protestant church aspect on each one it showed the modifier, I'm not aware of a separate way to see when the modifier expires though of course they show up in the overall modifiers screen. I believe it was the development cost one that also gave construction cost, and I think the legitimacy one was the manpower? Can't remember entirely right now. 2. Ah right, Wasn't sure what the degree of the modifier was, I just knew you had some trade companies - In terms of optimising total trade power vs goods produced modifier in that situation 33% modifier is surprisingly high.
@combrade-t
Жыл бұрын
The specific ones do appear to be on the wiki, and most of the modifiers do look like what I remember, so it's a bit easier to see there. I was wrong - the legitimacy was for reform progress, it was the missionary strength that gave manpower, I just used the reform progress a lot in my game as I was centralising states a tonne so I forgot. - Another big one I forgot about, especially for a lot of the game is the war exhaustion one which also gives -100% war taxes cost for the 10 years, although the fact it's hard to actually tell when the effects have expired It's not ideal as you could easily end up wasting a lot of mil points, hence I didn't really use it.
Będzie seria z Norwegii? Fajne drzewko dostali
Protestantism tenants also have a secondary bonus for ten years after they're taken, like the aggressive expansion one also as a -10% warscore cost again foreign religions. The dev cost gives a -10% construction cost, influence the pastors give +1 tolerance of the true faith and etc.

hey is there some bug with coalitions right now? Im playing Vijayanagar, I had no coalition problems for 50 years, expanded a lot but most nations under 50 ae... I then did a war against a large Multan & took only like 5-6 provinces.. some 8 nations went over 50ae but usually thats no major problem.. nations enter a coaltion, i build a few units, a year or so later they leave, i go on warring... this time, ive been coaltioned for 15-20 years unable to war.. no one ever leaves it.. many have gone below 50ae.. ive improved relations with 3 of them above 0 and less than 50 ae, none leave... i built more armies... none leave... Hormuz - 44 ae, khorasan - 19 ae, transoxiana - 23 ae, multan - 150 ae, mewar - 33 ae, malwa - 282 ae, bengal 112 ae.... i thought ones less than 50ae usually leave then its less powerful so the rest leave also.. its 1512 - ive waited nearly 20 years without warring.. nothing is happening.. im allied to afghanistan (13k) & ayutthaya (48k) - i have 80k troops.. ive never had a coaltion just stay there and nothing happen.. either they declare war or they leave.. i think the game is broken?

I think its a misunderstanding of AE. You don't gain AE when you take land, everyone around you gains AE _towards_ you as a negative opinion malice. That gain is modified if they have shared religious group and shared religious denomination with the nation losing land. So; I f AE recipient and the nation losing land are the same denomination its a +50% to the AE malice. If they're the same group but different denominations there's no religious modifier or +0%. If they're different religious groups they don't care as much so the malice is negatively modified if you conquer lands in other religious groups, so -50%.
@snozzy8756
Жыл бұрын
What this means is, if you take land from a Sunni country, other Sunni countries care a lot (+50%), Shia and Ibadi countries care a little (+0%), and non-Muslim countries care a tiny amount (-50%). It doesn’t matter what religion you are, this is a measure of how much a country cares about the religion of the country you take land from. If you don’t know what religious group a religion is from, you can check what religions count as heresies for it.
