Nearly did this years ago in a C4 Corvette.....but my then wife was a little preggers at the time, which was a problem at the time. Enjoy, awesome.

You having fun yet with the Cobra? Looks very much like you are! I built my Cobra between 1988 - 1992 with Jag underpinnings, Ford 302W and Borg Warner T5 box. I used it as my daily driver (yes my only car then) until I sold it in 2002 with about 80k miles on the clock. Such fun and probably one of the most trouble free cars I ever owned and I have owned a lot both in England and in South Africa. Mine was not tricked out as your Dax is like the SC version but I kept mine in road trim with pipes out the back and no quick lifts, roll bars etc. Keep on posting, and I will keep on watching!

Awesome Video man! This is how my wife and I camp at 24 Hours of Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring, except in a 392 Dodge Challenger! Next year we will be making the trip across the pond for the Le Mans! Cheers!

the escort driver was a nob, he was with a dozen mates with top end bmw,s audi,s etc and they didnt want there cars being damaged so they came to where we was camping, he nearly side swiped a skoda and a tent which was luckily empty, the skoda driver was of the opinion that his mates where just as culpable as they where encouraging the gullible driver and said if they damage my car i will damage theirs, and who would not agree with that,.

o yes you did come close to the shitty skoda and tent, there was some lovely cars by your tent with 14 people, why didnt you do your skids there, or better still the other side of the fence, ie the empty car park, it was 15 metres from your tent, your "mates" didnt want there hi end bmw,s etc risking being damaged but my t5 campervan and skoda didnt matter, you are a gullible idiot who believes your mates when they say you are brilliant, 2 of your mates told me that.

Ortim38 I think I actually spoke to you if you had the t5. Didn't wanna call me a knob then did ya, all safe as houses behind a keyboard. Why didn't I do donuts on my pitch? Perhaps the 12m x 6m marquee was in the way. And the high end cars as you put it. No one was hurt. I did not hit anything so why resort to calling me names now you are safely behind your keyboard. Should have come have a word with me then. But not got the stones for that have ya hahaha.

maybe i should not have resorted to name calling but you should understand that i was angry (others were too) at the "perceived " threat to our vehicles, as for having the "stones" the answer to that is no i have not got the stones, i,m an oap and i was one of a party of 2, you was one of a party of 14, i,m not stupid. I suspect if you was one of a party of 2 you would not have gotten away with endangering other cars, i suspect you would be very swiftly stopped, but as they say, safety in numbers eh.

To have a proper 427 bodied Cobra, one must have a Holman-Moody Ford 427 FE, side Oiler engine under the bonnet, a 5 or 6-speed trans could be allowed.

To have a proper cobra you need to have a million or so $ and buy an actual cobra, anything else is ‘just’ a replica and can have anything under the hood. Shelby originally wanted a Chevy V8 in the cobra so putting one in a replica is closer to what he wanted than having a Ford engine.🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Great video overall but my only negative is doing donuts in the campsite, that’s still a historic track and people tear it up by doing this after the race ends

looks like LeMans is in the UK, lot of uk plates around. I guess because most French come in the Saturday morning Shame I'm french and never attended the 24h, next year, I'll try not to miss it Great video !!

Le Mans Classic is the best car event ever! You can't fail it! If you want to make less distance on freeway, you can take the boat to St-Malo or Caen.
