Big fish love cut mullet.
Mullet are super oily and extra stinky.
And once you cut them open, they release a massive amount of scent into the water!
So in this video, you'll learn cut bait tips from our own Capt. Hollywood such as:
- How to butterfly mullet for big fish
- Rigging and casting tips
- Techniques for landing and releasing a tarpon
- And watch Luke land a 100 lb. tarpon!
Have any questions about using cut mullet for bait?

What really distinguishes Hollywood from other vids, guides, & fishermen is he's "coaching". Explaining everything he's doing and why with outstanding communication, genuine desire to educate, & confidence from years of knowkedge. I hope to have half his skills when teaching my 10yo daughter, & if not to learn patience enough to teach the grandchildren, lol.

@saltstrong Cut bait works in Islamorada because of all the fish used to being fed at Bud&Marys. I have yet to have luck in the CC/FMB area with cut bait. Would like to see what you do in SWFL/Lee Island Coast. Also, are you using offset circles or straight?
