One thing I learned about the gold Nobel Prize is that in the lead up to WWII, one Noble Prize for Chemistry winner in Germany heard that the Nazi's were confiscating everyone's gold. So what he did was dissolved his medal in Aqua Regia, or hydrochloric acid and nitric acid, becoming a nice bright yellow liquid in the beaker that he put on his shelf. When the Nazi's came, they never found it, and never knew it was liquid gold. When the Nazi's were defeated, the Nobel Prize winner simply put sodium metabisulfate in the solution to drop or precipitate the gold back into brown sludge. One quick melt later and it was a gold bar again. He took it to the Nobel committee and they recast that gold back into the famous medallion. At least that is the story, and I don't know if it is absolutely true, but I still found it fascinating. Don't mess with a chemist's gold! 🤣

Actually there were 2 Nobel prize winners who sent it to an institute in Copenhagen were it was dissolved and later again precipitated and remelted. But yeah it’s a true and awesome story!

I made a lot of money off of gold and human beings infatuation with ; but I never dug one once out of the ground. I worked for a company that manufactures underground mining equipment sold around the world used to dig gold any other minerals out to be used by humans. Gold puts bread & butter on my table, that’s important.

You are up on your knowledge of history and the Bible. I have seen for my own eyes in real time Jesus Agapi love for me. The story of that situation is a long one so I will not go over it. GOD/ Jesus has been by my side taking care of business since my birth. My hole life is a story GOD with me. Now in my older years I’ve surpassed faith without seeing, it’s faith and have seen many times over. I stand on the rock of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the end. I understand Gods timing he is always on time and not a second before or a second late. I’ve been through many instances in my life and come my might say face to face with the evil one. Theirs no words that I can write down to describe the feeling of evil in my body , but Jesus was their. I think it was more of situation maybe that Jesus allowed the hedge of protection down to experience it??? you might say . The first time you might say was a near miss or our paths crossed. Then several years later the evil one tried again and I just said the name of Jesus and that ended that. I know about putting on the hole armor of GOD to do spiritual battle, but I don’t go out looking for it. It’s been a long road for me through the decades and my experiences that for the most part don’t happen in church but out in the real world. I guess what I’m saying is theirs church on Sunday then there’s the rest of the week. And another issue with mainline Christian Churches is the concept and design in GODS eyes is perfect but the problem lies with the church is run by a bunch of sinners no better then you or me. Now for my comment on gold . I myself really don’t have any infatuation with it or any other precious stones or metal because I know where it comes from , out of the ground, no big deal. What I find precious is tools and equipment that I can use with my hands to earn a living or be self sufficient in life. I’m retired now and I still buy tools and equipment. I’m glad all these other people in the world have a infatuation with this stuff because as my father always said it out bread & butter on the table. All the gold & silver won’t do you any good when you are starving. A good example of this is , if you don’t know is Afghanistan. Afghanistan- Taliban are sitting on a estimated 15 trillion dollars worth of metals of all kinds but it’s a check they cannot cash. All of it is underground. There is no infrastructure to support the mines that are none to get the ore out to ships to take it somewhere in the world to be processed into useful metals for industry, etc. Just to get 1 underground mine up and running takes 5 years and 5 billon dollar investment to get it running. Then you need qualified workers, you need a transportation system and all this runs around the clock 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Even if for some reason the political climate changed in Afghanistan, it would take a minimum of ten years of work and at least 1 trillion dollar investment before one dollar of payback came out of the ground. So the next time you see something on the news about Afghanistan just remember they the Taliban are sitting on a 15 trillion dollar check that they cannot cash. Everyday they waste today pushes that 10 year window out more. The clock is ticking and they don’t realize it. Time is money in the mining business . Have a nice day and thanks again for your reply.

I of course didn't believe what he was telling me, even though I went to his property and seen what appeared to be a mine that had collapsed about 10 feet from the entrance.
