Might be how they do it in Europe but 4G pitches here in the UK also have a percentage of plastic in the grass to help protect the natural grass from damage, that's why all the players now pull their socks over their knees.

4G pitch is 4th gen 100% synthetic turf, Hybrid turf is a mixed natural and plastic, I doubt that's why players pull their socks over their knees

@@chrissichris19 were you born a prick or have you had to practise much? The hybrid pitches have been in use for so long now that there are no players left who had to change. What you need to do you brave little keyboard warrior is get to play on a hybrid pitch and do a sliding tackle with your socks down and see if that changes your mind.

Seen this along time ago a company called Rowlawn ….fields of football pitches in Yorkshire…..think it was called Bingley ….Man Utd pitches are from there ….all they have to do is to learn to play on them .

the stadium it is installed in, is in Germany for FC Hiedenheim, in the second division.
