Tip; When you go with a toddler to the mall first take her to the kids play area such that by the time you go to the restaurant she is already tired and only wants to eat and sleep

Let her help in packing them before you leave the house and keep reminding her they are hers to play with as you wait for food. We underestimate how children learn fast. I've used this method since my child was a toddler and most of the time she will remain seated like 80% of the time I'm in a restaurant with her.
