Nah bro watch the games and you’ll see the servers and the games are good but time to time how terrible and lazy EA and the game is, is absolutely obvious! Moments like GK running out and using his hands in a big match between nikolas and mouauba, to lag ruining games, to ai saving trash pros, to some games being so slow they look like a game from from the 90s, to that time the servers being down during a pro tournament ffs and they had to use Rock Paper Scissors to decide the winner and more! The game is not esports ready at all!

@Muhammad It's still a server problem because of server location. So what you on about. My internet speed might be faster than that of someone who plays with 20ms. But the server is still far. So you can never say WL is even for every player. That's just wrong talk

@Muhammad 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️. They are in US. Don't know what state. There's none in Africa. We use Europe servers. That's why my ping is usually at 98-100ms at best. Even if my internet goes at 800mbps. It's still slow. And I match with people playing in the UK who have like 10ms. So how do you expect that to be a fair match

Stopped playing Fifa years ago when they implemented the “balance teams” algorithm around 2012 -2013… the older FIFA games you could play a big part in the outcome of the match which is what made it fun. Once me and my friends started to catch on that you basically have no control anymore the game becomes pretty much pointless. People began calling if “scripting” but an ex employee in 2015 said what they did was try and implement a system to force every online game to be close.. the balance team algorithm. If you have even half a brain you can clearly see forced changes to your teams play throughout each match. Like if your winning and your goalie deflects the ball miraculously to the one attacker who taps it in. You’re going for a shot and your own teammate quickly gets in front of you to block your shot…. Your opponent has a fast break and your AI defender literally sprints out of position … you literally see him run the opposite way of the goal he’s defending so that they have a easy tap in goal. Or just watch how offsides happens….. you go to pass a through ball perfectly on time… but wait instead of the pass being on time the ball lingers on the passing players foot for 1.5 seconds which is the perfect amount of time to now make that player offsides lol Why would I want to pay money for a game where I don’t control the outcome????

@@georgec5212 yeah but the thing is unless your an elite player at fifa your gonna struggle against scripting because the game wont let you win the game at all like you wont score at all every shots gonna get saved hit the post or crossbar the only way to score would be to sweat but even that is damn near impossible because the ai doesn‘t do the right runs you wont have anyone to sweat towards like when they scripting is hardcore it‘s very difficult to beat someone no matter the skill gap

@@georgec5212 100000% scripting in the game. Anyone says different haven’t played fifa or they’re EA tossers. This is easily proved, hold jockey button LT/L2 and run in a straight line. Your speed and momentum will change the closer or further away an opponent gets. Oh and the defence parting like the sea in the 85th minute onwards.

This kinda shows how football would work if each team was genuinely a hive-mind. (Not quite, because each gamer can only specifically control one target player at a time, but by being able to switch to any player at will it’s sort of like the players on pitch can telepathically communicate what move the other players should make when they’re no longer the best player to control the unfolding situation)

After watching a few fifa videos I realize I actually play like a pro fifa gamer! It’s mostly due to experience and now I’m even more motivated to compete in tournaments and make some youtube content

I prefer if there 2 gameplay modes in the game; Arcade for ultimate team and online to keep the pros happy. Proper simulation for offline and career mode with better AI That means the game won’t be destroyed by patches every year because the pros complain about not being able to spam skill moves and speed of the game.

Ultimate gamer nerds ! Maybe just maybe a potential nerd of the year candidate. 🤷🏻‍♂️

They play on assisted controls. It's such a low skill ceiling. Until they play fully manual they are average players at best. The manual community would welcome them though

Didn't fifa 12 have the auto defending where you hold down standing tackle and it does it for you? If you haven't played fifa for a good few years you wouldn't understand. Defending is much harder now

Ball rolls are good and all but here me out, if your going to make such a defender cancelling skill so cheap to do then you might as well make a defensive move that directly has a 50% chance of stoping it on acceleration

The thing is, I feel like the game developers are trying to do an impossible task which is why the gameplay has evolved the way it has. There’s so much new RNG going on with all the new mechanics, by trying to make the game more dynamic (realistic) the community has responded but trying to be “better” by having higher RNG. On attack, you want higher RNG(less chance for error). On defense you want the most RNG for your opponent(higher chance of error). As a software engineer myself, this would be the “correct” format in terms of developing a game like this. But what it causes is for people to play in a way that gives them the highest RNG for more “consistent” gameplay. I.e sweat the ball from the goal line for easy tap in. Pass completion chance is higher, shot conversion chance is higher, defensive interference is lower, this is how they’ll play. I wanna go more in depth but it’s too much to type. This isn’t a “patch” situation. They’d have to revert and reimplement a lot from the gameplay engine.

That is nuts

I had to stop playing FIFA, with how important switching is, I couldn't cope with lag preventing my manual switching and being unable to react to through balls cutbacks etc, made it unplayable and more importantly unenjoyable. I feel that players should be paired by closest connection to prevent server smoothing destroying the game for the player with better ping.

This is not crazy high level stuff just pros are usually too reliant on AI defending so when one of them is a good manual defender it stands out.

It plays itself it doesn’t really need real players. Whoever is winning the algorithm FORCES chaos on the winning team… AI’s literally sprinting out of position, the goalie blocks a shot that miraculously deflects towards the one attacker who taps it in . The game is a joke . If you have a brain you can literally see which team is being favored at which time

They are that good + have much better teams than the normal player. Which also helps them to be ranked.
