Yea, way better then the new ones. They keep adding more & more plastic. Hiding the engine, & other stuff. Every brand has gone to the angle stuff as well. Bring back the round tube frames & round upper fairing, no lower, highlight the engine. Instead of hiding it within plastic.

Hey! Yes it is, but they are spot welded to the exhaust. Just grind the spot weld and you can remove it.

@@peterhaanschoten nee niet helemaal. Voor de 4 led knippers zijn er twee weerstanden nodig (ik heb ze tussen de achter knippers gezet). Ook moet je de stekkertjes van de oude aan deze nieuwe solderen (ze komen zonder stekkers). En die micro zijn zo klein dat het draadeind kleiner is dan het gat waarin je ze monteert. Dus ik heb ze op een pasplaatje gemonteerd en die vervolgens weer op het frame van de koplamp. Je ziet er niks van, maar het was wel even puzzelen om het zo netjes te krijgen.

Bedankt Alex voor je info btw schitterende SF heb je er van gemaakt ,ik heb een witte 1098 uitvoering en nieuw gekocht en nog steeds big smile als ik er op rijd

I've owned 2 streetfighters. A 1098s and now a v4sp. They are both 100% Ducati, and I am definitely not a "fashion boy". Do you own a Ducati, Mr Ducwolf? If so, why so bigoted about no fairing?

@ducatilex, your bike is lovely. Mine was black and I ran out of mods in the 6 years I had it. The best bike I ever had up until my current one, but there isn't much between them. I love the simplicity of the 1098s, and it is way faster round country roads than any R1 or CBR that I have owned. Keep safe.👍
