I've figured out why it's called MAPA. I think there are two meanings for this. MAPA is a Tagalog word for MAP which guides and leads us to where we are supposed to go, also MAPA is a combination of MA(mama/mom) and PA(papa/dad), it means MAma and PApa are the ones leading us to the right . And "Lataratara" is "La Tierra Tierra" in Spanish meaning "The world". A lullaby song saying "you are my world" to their child.

I've watched a lot of reactions for this song and I'm actually in awe of how relatable this song is. It's very simple but it tugs really hard on your heart like how, I've actually never heard of a song that does that before, of course I haven't heard all the songs out there but I'm sure songs like this are rare

We are too busy growing up, and we often forget our parents are getting old.. Say I love you to your mom or dad now, when u still have them... ❤️❤️❤️

It’s ok…music has this ability to make us face our vulnerability. We act tough in the world but at the end of the day we’re all a mush of emotions. Hugs from the US. P.S. I’ve already cried buckets binge watching reactions all day. My eyes are so puffy now. But it’s cathartic.

Fun fact: The meaning of MAPA in english is MAP but in that song MAPA mean Mother and Father (Mama and Papa). The message of it is like we need to give back what our parents did for us to get this far on jour journey, they become the map of our lives to explore the world.

its all in the song MAPA for Map, MAPA for Mama and PAPA, MAPA for Mata (eyes) and Paa (feet), add it all as mother and father serves as map/guide for their, while growing up they also serves both eyes and feet as they lead them to whats best for them.

We filipinos who strived much because of our parents guidance, and it is our way of giving back what they molded us, and take care of them, and we the children oue greatest treasure is to make our mama and papa lived the rest of their lives comfortable. We will always on their side no matter what.

The word " Lataratara lataratara " was used by Filipino's moms or parents to their child to get them sleep its lullaby actually hihi. The boys used that word to show them that now is the right time to rest and sang a lullbay to them...

I've read in some comments that ken's grandma died and prior to the release of this song. And he couldn't even attend the funeral because of t the hectic schedule. I'm really not certain about this because I haven't seen the video of Ken being heartbroken in an interview.

Here in the PH🇵🇭, High School or University Graduating Students Sing this Song during Their RECOGNITION DAY, a Tribute for Their Hardworking Parents, whom Never Stop Supporting Them just to make sure They'll get a Good Future of Their Own.. Filipino Culture had a Tight Family Relationship.. We Never Abandoned Our Parents and or Close Relatives even though We already have Our Own Family..
