A word to the wise about this. Good luck and have fun. Seriously lol because I’ve played a few and I can’t tell you the levels of anxiety I have when I queue solo. Every corner is sus, ever sound has me on alert, and I stop beat myself up when I die. However that’s a good thing because I died because of me. Regardless if I get third partied or because I forgot about the other teammate after knocking one, it’s good practice. Expect a whirlwind but I agree that it’ll make you better over time. My friend & I have come from years of playing Overwatch, with a bit of Warzone etc. We played Apex before but got really peeved with the 3rd partying & constant Peacekeepers... But just recently we’ve got back into this game in a big way. He usually beams people / 1v3’s while I play a more supportive role in repositioning portals, using defensive legends or using EMP to initiate. So I’m trying to improve my in-fight reflexes, and this video has given me so much insight and I haven’t even totally finished it yet. Thanks for sharing dude 😁

I recently started playing with my boyfriend. Apex is my first battle royale and the closest I played to a shooter so far would be something like Tomb Raider. He has over 300+ hours in Apex and played cs somewhat professional. So it goes without saying he carries me A LOT. I am so scared before every fight, heartrate going through the roof, but he is really, really patient with me and explains so much (really similar to you). To improve more and be a better teammate for him, I recently started to play a few solo matches every day. Your videos help me so, so much. You explain everything so well and calm, I am almost excited to go get into some fights again. And you mention things I never thought about without it being overwhelming for a noob like me. Really, thank you so much for these videos! :)

I'm definitely going to do this. Even if I'm not going to be the best I will get better 100%.

I been watching alot of videos and tips and this one is huge. I used to think i just sucked and not to say im one of the best but i realized with your tips and solo play i do 100% better. More damage and more kills. Always top 3. Also one tip dont rat play. Be in some action as best you can. If you rat play you will find no results. Always still rotate.

Great video! Just one question, do you often have guys take shots at you from behind?

Out of everything you mentioned I am worlds worst to peak a spitfire too early after taking cover. It's like my muscle memory on how long a normal mag takes to empty out is too built into how I function. Also yes the Maggie voice is incredibly annoying. Not a fan of being forced to play LTMs...

Also give linear alc controls a try. It takes some getting used to but I'm so much more consistent than I was with classic or any other scheme.
