@@Zeracey gojo saw no point in killing him. i wouldnt put him on the special grade level, its his rope thats just troublesome but you can definitely find a way with it. gojo can rip apart special grade limbs by his bare hands, he couldve done the same to miguel but he didnt. if gojo actually wants him gone, his limbs wouldve scattered across the city blocks or have a hole blown through his body just by gojo's physical attacks.

Kinda, Gojo did not want this fight at all and new it was basically designed to stall and weaken him. Because of that he needed to keep as much gas in the tank as possible, meaning he was likely fighting as much as he was capable of in order to have reserves for later. He's not so much holding back as he is pacing himself, even gojo has limited stamina.

Let's say you have to kill someone in front of you. There are two options, a pistol and an atomic bomb. Picking the pistol would not mean you are holding back, as the pistol is enough to reach the goal and the atomic bomb would just be overkill for the job. You don't get your sharpest knife to cut bread, simply a knife that cuts bread.

@@math9172 Major Spoilers if you haven't read the manga. Toji had a similar weapon with the same properties, but it clearly didn't disable Hollow Purple. The Cursed Technique nullifying ability on both weapons seems to specifically only work when it's in contact with the target. If it was used on someone with a technique like Megumis, it would probably cancel it out because that's a continuously used technique. However, once Gojo has created a Hollow Purple sphere, it probably can't be dispelled, as Gojo isn't tied to it anymore, he just creates and points it. In a domain one of 4 things would probably happen. Either it would act as a simple domain and protect the user from the sure-hit effect, it would be able to instantly break a domain wall if the user could find it, the weapon would simply cancel out the domain, or it would do nothing. Of those four, the first option is probably the most likely to happen from what we've seen in the story with domains, but unless it ever happens, we can't be sure. Even if it was the case that Gojo somehow couldn't use his techniques on Miguel, he still could have instantly killed him without any technique. Source: Gojo effortlessly ripping off Jogos head in their first encounter, Gojo dominating the disaster curses, Gojo vs Sukuna. Considering that Gojo tracked him down later to train Yuta, this was most likely him giving Miguel a test to see how good he was at cursed energy control.

@@Kelpic Why is everyone saying Gojou is nerfed for not one shotting Miguel, and not instead recognizing that Miguel is strong AF for somewhat standing up to Gojou ? Jogou might indeed be stronger than Miguel, but he went in overly cocky without ANY information about Gojou or countermeasure for his technique, or course he got bodied. (+ when he got decapitated he was stunned by Gojou's domain). Miguel on the other hand knew who he was against, had the black rope (which if you read the manga, is scary enough to Gojou for him to then destroy all the remaining black rope in the world. -and would also havr been powerful enough to open the prison realm), and he had help from Getou's curses during the fight. Against Gojou, only planning, cursed tools and trickery will work. Brute force will never be relevant. Be it through a blade that cancels cursed techniques, Domain Amplification, trapping humans so that he can't Domain Expansion, using Domain expansion yourself or in Miguel's case, disrupt Gojou's technique, the only way we've ever seen Gojou be somewhat stopped or hurt is through ruse. The only convincing point you made was about domains, but let's be real, Akutami probably hadn't even invented then when he wrote JJK0. We can just assume/headcanon that the black rope also prevented/made Miguel immune to Gojou's domain since all of it was destroyed and it won't come up again. That way we can still keep everything coherent despite the fact that JJK0 wasn't planned to have a sequel.
