We are just starting this job and its very SAD! This is not what we ever expected in the last few years. We did advise him to sell since it probably better for him to be able to move forward. What you think

You two are the only people I want to work on my boat. I’ll be down there this time next year. I’ll save all the work for you guys, and give you plenty of advance notice before I get there for scheduling, and if the schedule slips, oh well. You guys are the best.

You all have good hearts. I was wondering if there is the equivalent of junk yards for boats? So if you have a boat and it is just too old or in bad shape, are there boat scrap yards that will take it? I enjoy your channel.

I’ve got a SeaRay 400 Sedan Bridge in San Diego. My mechanic will quote me prices for work, no paperwork is ever generated unless it comes from the parts store or boat yard when we haul it out for maintenance. I’d rather have a paper trail to track his labor, parts etc. but that’s how he operates. I log everything into my log book and keep detailed records. I’m leaning towards cashing out and moving to south Florida and buying a 45-50’ powered catamaran to live aboard full time. We live in Phoenix in the winter and spend summers on the boat. Have to do my homework on that

Unfortunately as part of my job I deal with diminishing capacity of people, boating is a true passion and my father had a boat his entire life, which eventually became a mistake. Unless the person has a surplus $200k that they can live without I agree on your opinion that the client will more likely be better off if they move on.
