This massively hurts F2P players and is only a buff for P2W players. According to Max, the number of EWC people get per month should stay the same when that is absolutely not the case.

Major issue: Champions are significantly harder than other cards to max, so this is a massive nerf to almost everyone.

well its not only now they changed so much shit that was not good. level 1 account got hard bullied by every single patch like holy moly. they slowly but surely removed all our features. it was always no war no challanges. then they removed our daily rewards then our shop then we couldnt buy the pass then they changed the matchmaker so u can only play against other level 1s which ruined it pretty quick. then the final blow hit. they gave as a cap on arena's so u needed to be level 2 to be able to promote to arena 2. also somewhere in between they added mother whitch which was hella broken against other level 1s but almost no way to get them since we couldnt buy shit like the battlepass. they removed lightning strikes in battlepass since it was to broken and i think they removed books from the battlepass. then a year ago they introduced level 14. WHO TF HAD TIME TO MAX AN ACCOUNT AHHH

Clash royale devs think about the people who pay a lot, their passes have very little value and milk whales as much as possible

when i am in a KILL A GAME competition and SUPERCELL is my opponent.

My problem with EWCs is that it overall nefs progression for players who don't have every card on level 14. Before level 15 you couldn't get duplicates for rarities you didn't have every card on level 14, so you got the cards you actually needed faster, and when you did max the whole rarity, you still got gold to speed up upgrading the other rarities. Now it's a lot slower to upgrade anything the moment you start getting level 14s because so many of the cards you get from chests just get converted to EWCs

Clash royale has dropped to a point, where a community manager says: "That's not what you want to hear." Aren't community managers supposed to focus on things the community enjoys / wants to see or hear?

I would hate if more evolutions of low HP cards changed interactions, the firecracker not dying to arrows is kind of insane to me, it nullifies one of the reasons why one might put arrows in the deck.

The book of books should just work as it works for the normal levels and not be exchanged for elite cards

The main issue for f2p Is that they dont have all Champions and legendary maxed meaning that they cant use this buff but only the nerf

The problem is this doesn't make sense in the slightest. The whole point of microtransactions (except for cosmetics) is to get some form of advantage against players who aren't willing to spend money on the game. This change would make buying resources in the game useless, which isn't exactly the way to go.

The clash royale developers are now like DCEU writers

To be fair they should just - put gems back in the 2nd mastery set - replace banner tokens in the 3rd mastery set with evolution shards and EWCs - nerf the RG evolution by giving him less HPs, lower his attack speed and range and boost his attack damage by a bit so it doesn't affect DPS too much. It is even more broken than the OG Electro Giant

Evolved royal giant was literally something me and my friends would joke about years ago when royal giant was unstoppable. We'd say shit like "dude RG needs a buff, they should make him have a fireball splash around him everytime he shoots". I thought the royal giant evolution was a mod on a custom client of CR.

For long-term display, the developers want each player to use a different deck by giving evolution cards. According to the developers, they noticed when some players stopped playing Clash Royale after they reached the level 14 cards in their favorite deck. And that's why the developers introduced level 15 cards (elite cards). So there are two updates from the developers, elite cards and evolution cards.

Create a new card only makes the player focus on that new card, it doesn't last long but by introducing many evolution cards from existing cards, the player has to collect 6 evolution shards per card. That doesn't include collecting 50k EWC for 1 card level 15 (Elite level). That will take a long time and expect players to play Clash Royale for a longer period of time. That's when the developer will figure out the next step for the new idea. Maybe the developers will increase the acceptance of cards and golds from chests or seasons like Slash Royale. Developers can change the rules. With that, developers can control players development more comprehensively.

I cuming back to clash royale to feel like im a part of the chaos that is happening

The thing is: I am level 14 and have my deck maxed, but I only have 3 legendaries maxed, while I have way more commons, rares and epics maxed, so the odds are way worse for me now

The devs are for sure trolling and our getting a great laugh out of all the drama they made

Brawl stars seems to be doing well financially, despite that games dev team (from what ive heard) basically just reverting any change the community deems bad and then compensating with some sort of temporary or permanent game progression buff. Im starting to feel like the clash royale dev team is just a bunch of random pigeons trained to write code and make money, i mean whens the last time they actually listened to the community when that would mean a bit less money.

It's been more than 10 days since the update dropped, as a F2P player I was only able to farm 4000 wild cards.

To make it all better is pretty simple, just lower the cost for upgrade to 5000ewc. Then books will still give 5000. Champion will give 250, legendary will give 100 and epic will give 15, rare 5 and common 1.

The problem is they don't want to change the baseline of how many EWC players players CAN earn, not what they are actually getting. Maxed players come out on top, most FTP and new players are getting done for. Most people aren't earning what they CAN because most players aren't maxed and getting EWCs from legendary and champion cards. Stupid change, especially if the "baseline" doesn't move either, since this way it just makes EWCs even more inaccessible to F2P players since they're so much rarer to get. Bad change, bad devs, bad game.
