I didn’t attend this school. Mine was a trade & tech school. I should have graduated class of 1981. Since I was seemingly always getting left back. I was in achedamic probation. I could never attended extra curricular activities. The school was focused on having me graduate. I was born with a bad brain (happens to some). I finally did graduate in January 1986. However I didn’t know any of my classmates. I made up my missed classes by attending a community college for 3 years. I was in the 9 year program in elementary school & the 8 year program in high school. But I graduated. To this day after all my years in school did I ever need to use a preposition in my job. Or use an algebra theorem in my job. I had constant arguments with my teachers about how useless the classes were in school. They kept insisting those parts are important in any job? I’m a power lineman for a local power company. The most math we use is measuring with a 6 foot rule. I don’t use paper at work. It’s done on a computer. Most of the time I’m either building or maintaining the electric grid. One pole at a time. We use brawn at work / very little thinking except when is lunch time. Most of the time we grunt at each other and use hand signals 🤌🏻👌🏻👉🏻🖕🏻. I’m nearing the end of my career with 36 years in the trade. Having picked the best job for someone not smart enough to do well enough in school. I just turned sixty I’m one of the oldest guys at work. I got a late start in life wasted going to school. I got kicked out of catholic school when I put my open hand on mother superior. I attended a school with emotionally disturbed kids for three years. Their program was geared towards going to college. I wanted to work with my hands & not my bad brain. I left to go to a trade school. I only know one other classmate from school. He claims he uses everything they teach at school.

Well many of them who moved away lost contact until Facebook then eventually hated each other over Social Media politics and unfriended each other

Those were the days before all the poison preservatives/chemicals/high fructose corn syrup...etc.. in our food that have affected all our health now days😢 I really miss those years

Great times. The era of Reagan and incredible economic prosperity. The fall of the Berlin wall and eventually of the Soviet Union. No war like today, no troops deployed abroad. We were breaking out of paying for the guns and butter of the Vietnam War. The personal computer was Apple 2 C/E or IBM's and the tech sector was beginning to boom.
