Bf4 definitely was an improvement of bf3. But there’s something about bf3 that always makes me say, damn. This truly is the best game they made.

I remember the good ol days of putting c4 on a buggy and getting out and blowing up tanks. So much fun. So many weapons and big lobbies with many vehicles. It was the peak of fps gaming

My first true love was bf4. Spent countless hours playing this game...I was still shite at it but had a blast.

I never experienced it. My first was bf1. It would be nice to have a bf3 or 4 remastered in the future, well that's what I think anyway.

my only complaint about bf4 were the amount of vehicles also, bf3 > bf4

Battlefield 4 Is my GOAT Battlefield game. Put 2k+ Hours into it and no battlefield since then has lived up to it. Loved It!!

It only took a few months for the netcode to be dramatically improved. By then 8 more maps, modes, weapons on top of tons of weapons were released. So yeah it kept being worked on but day one it was ahead after a few months it was light years ahead of where 2042 is now. You could even find squads with people on comms!

Eh, I will always stand by BF3 being the best overall. It had the better variety of maps that balanced vehicle and infantry combat, not to mention it had the best set of urban maps in the franchise. It also had less hit reg issues and broken hit boxes. I agree BF4 added lots and lots of content and made a comeback, but to me, this game started DICE/EA's tendency to throw out games as soon as possible and worry about them later.

I’m a late bloomer and started bf4 multiplayer in 2021 and man it’s the best experience I’ve gotten from it, better than bfv, one and 2042

I miss playing 8v8 scrims on BF4 with my Argentina friends until 3 AM on South América server with 200 Ms latency (no ping limit btw just fair and square gun fights) and slowly progressing, getting better and building a name on the community for good or for bad I hope I did have a Good impact up until BFV but more than anything BF4 was the most fun I had on comp and on BF in general. BF3 will always be my objectively best BF but BF4 is my favorite at heart such a great game that provee that with will and experience you can still deliver a good game. I feel on 2042 there might be the will but not the experience of how a real BF game design should work sadly.

The damn bug with the baku helicopter still hasnt been fix

bf4 is goated for me. After bf5 and 2042 not cutting it for me I went back because it was just more enjoyable. I may go back to 2042 but bf4 will always be my fav

I search BF4 2023 i get 2042 S4

I still play bf4 heavily as long as there’s active servers on Xbox . Bf2042 despite all its updates just does not feel right . Every gun is a laser beam , the time to kill is ridiculously quick and the engineer class is poop . I love being able to help my team by taking out vehicles and it’s almost near impossible in 2042 .

Agree with you BF4 and BF3 were amazing the hours I put into those games and enjoyed every minute of it. BF 2042 was such a huge disappointment for me, it just never felt like a battlefield game to me

Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Best battlefield. Best maps. Best destructible environments. Best player base. The Vietnam DLC was fantastic. Followed by 4 I think.

BF:BC2 was the best by far in terms of campaign and multi-player.

Bf4 was BF3.2. It was very good but did not raise the bar like bf3. I think 2042 has the potential to make a comback as well. I do understand the cons of 2042 but its over hated imo. It all depends the support it will get. But as much as I love the OG games. I have moved on. Bf1-5 ok but 3-4 just feel to outdated on console now.

3 and 4 may have had great content but good god their gameplay mechanics suckkk compared to 1, 5 and even 2042

I just noticed that bfv,bf4,bf2043 all had a bad launch and got better with updates

I absolutely miss this game so much! I stomps 2042.

The only truly disappointing thing about the game overall were the maps in the end. If it had one expansion on the level of quality of the BF3 Aftermath DLC, switching to BF1 would be a lot harder for me. Still, leagues ahead of what is considered acceptable nowadays in 2042.

When competitive was for strong players 😊

BF4 is way better than BF3 in terms of net code, servers, tickrate, hit detection but still BF3 is my favourite. BF3 maps was great, I was playing for 3 years without any dlc. Noushar Canals was insane deathmatch map, Damavand peak was insane rush map and firestorm and metro were the best conqest maps. Times of BF3 was the best times for community too, it created a lot of memes, people were not tryharding that much and even if u were bad you could still enjoy the game. But now I feel like BF4 is still alive and playable game and BF3 is unplayable because of bad tickrate and small player base.

I still play battlefield every day. Also in my opinion despite the glitches at launch the had day one patches that fixed most everything and the game maintained a very high player retention for most of its life due to custom servers and mil-sims as well as health hardcore serve player count.

Launch was horrible 😂🤣
