Persona 3 (on the PS2) was my introduction to the Persona series. I liked it so much I also had to play Persona 3 FES and basically played the same game all over again. It was totally worth it.

Fun fact I first played this game on what I would find out way later was a TV with a slightly busted speaker. The only thing it distorted was Ikutsuki's voice. So I thought he was evil from the 1st time I heard him.

If not for my friend introduce me to his classmate, I would probably never play this game. The 1st thing that sold me to play this game was because he said it's not your typical RPG, and can actually have a "life" outside battle. While the dating sim gimmick is cool, I'm more in love with the fact that we still need to live as normal student. Going to school, get in a club, study, etc. I'm lucky that P3 was released when I was still in Highschool so it feels good playing it.

This is why Kotone is the superior protagonist. She can Social Link the boys, she doesn’t need max charm to hook up with Yukari, and she can save Shinji giving the middle finger to the shitty theme of depression and death in this game.

Too sure. Fact is, Shinji should have been saved if any of the main characters had brain cells. Alongside Chidori's sacrifice, the two most major deaths depicted are worthless if you think about them, so good on FES on kicking that idiocy in the shin hard, even if they don't really use the other characters properly.

@@egbertmilton4003 There were a few key details i agree must be fixed, but Shinji's entire death isn't one of them. The entire game's theme is about the acceptance of death. By going "uohhhhh me angri my hot boy died!!!!" You activally go against its entire mensage.

@@funninoriginal6054 I don’t believe his character was done that well in the original, it’s the fact his death breaks the rules of the world and throw the competence of SEES greatly into question. It’s completely worthless, and only harms the characters and the world rather than actually add anything proper. He barely had a dynamic with anyone but Akihiko and we are just expected to give a shit, and then he dies because Mitsuru, Akihiko and Yukari were so idiotic that they didn’t even bother trying to use healing spells that their normally poorly made AI always prioritises the keep when getting skills, when healing outside combat is a common feature of the game, and there is nothing preventing the bullet that didn’t immediately kill their teammate from being recovered from with this form of magic. The fact that Akihiko cries so much is a riot, he should be crying for being such an absolute failure of a friend to just let him die.
