Remember Iron Crown event? Remember when people gave Respawn backlash for having event where the only way to get certain skins was to open packs and hope you randomly get it and herloom was like 200 dollars? That's how we got to collection events and the way they function. Oh but now it's fine to gamble for skins and costs even more to get mythic item.... EA's greed has no limits

I think prices are high that's why I don't buy anything games still fun as hell with or without the micro transactions. This event is terrible. Lost ranked badges from season 4-14 and the breakout legend challenges to unlock the flatline all reset. All they do is sell overpriced cosmetics. Make the game work.

I swear the first few packs are coded to give you the most meaningless items possible.

I quit playing about a year ago and the more I have seen and heard from the players, devs, and hackers over that time it has simply reinforced to me that my decision was correct. $300 for an heirloom and even more to "Customize" it yet one guy can hack ALGS and screw with a professional event live? Yea EA can go pound sand.

More cheaters than the apocolypse cheater era back in WEEK 3 of apex legends. Matchmaker is worse than ever(that's saying a lot) the ranked system is a previous shitty system DONE WORSE, (-60 for plat if you get 4th you dont even get points, lol?) the balance is AWFUL not even comparable to any other season, the game is quite literally unsafe to play. Lastly the point you made "this season has been one of the best seasons ever in terms of player count" isn't even true? Apex has been steadily declining for a while now. Respawn and EA never listen to their consumers or even their own workers, they are so blinded by their greed that they make event after event never even once thinking what the players want. For instance we want more affordable packs and heirlooms, we are tired of seeing all these events with heirlooms that cost up to 300 Dollars, after all this is a Free game. I know games that are free have some in game purchases that are either cosmetics (Fortnite and Apex) or Pay to win purchases (Crossout) because games aren't developed cheap but at least try to understand that those of us who can't work and are forced to rely on disability like myself can't even afford the most basic purchases like the Seasonal pass half the time.

Respawn isn’t the one who’s doing all that trash tho. Back in titanfall 2 they really cared for the player base. Unfortunately they needed more money to improve the game and servers so they sold a lot of Apex to EA and here we are today. If it would be only respawn, than we wouldn’t have these garbage events

Seems like ever since season 9/10 they sold a lot of Apex to EA and now everything is overpriced. I started playing in season 11 and didn't really notice they wanted money so bad until like season 15, and since then it's gotten progressively worse

I love how i got a holospray from the 100 coins pack and a banner frame from the prize tracker. Truly a Respawn experience

They first tried to implement gambling store back at the beginning of Apex, and it met ALOT of backlash ("freeloaders" incident). So respoon decided to wait untill things settle down, used a more user friendly model. With FF they decided to try and impliment it again. And to calm the storm before it even begun, they gave us TONS of free packs at that event (12 or 14), i dont remember. So people were not complaining too much, and now they gonna to contunie to do theese types of scam cash grabs, but with less and less free/good rewards, untill theres none left.

My legend challenges reset but the legends are still unlocked

the artwork museum ones would be so good We need more of those skins

The speedy wisthler is very underwhelming. But now you can have 2 bullets while also extend the lifetime of his bullets (in the world). I would still love to see a perk that isnt just gis tactical. I think his tactical needs a buff overall which these perks do, but leaves his other abilities completely untoched by the perks. Maybe give him 2 tacticals by default. I pretty decent buff but its needed for him.

That evangeleon recolour is actually kinda fire The Eva skin was the first skin to make me spend money on the game

There was a lot of different skins leaked, like new oni looking skins for caustic and ballistic. Conduit is in one ofof those I believe

If i don’t have an heirloom and im level 180 prestige and if i pull the free heirloom will it reset my 500 guarantee heirloom from apex packs?

I got heirloom shards out of a random pack today. I have caustic prestige skin and heirloom (my main) and wraith heirloom with recolor (old main) so I was excited but not as much. I occasionally play rampart in pubs/rank so I got her heirloom. It was pretty neat seeing red flashes

Rev recolor looks like frieza...

in game event is a 5 and i got a frame for ballistic so 1 for that over all the event could be worse

I bought the 4 pack bundle when you got guaranteed legendary and got legendary stickers.....

Will the legend skins after this event be in the legend characters that you can buy after the event? Like a revelations skin for revenant?

I opened my first „free“ event pack and got the Bloodhound skin. I am so happy I didn’t get the stickers. In the FFVII free packs, I got just stickers. I would’ve prefered the Ballistic or Rev skin, but I can’t complain. Just happy I got a legendary skin

I hate this event bro, I was playing ranked last night, got a black screen and I just thought I got blue screened, no I didn’t, my game stopped bc of the update. It’s really getting hard to continue playing this game, I might just stay on TF2 and stay there

The first two packs are still only 100 coins each. If you have the battle pass and intend to finish it you can afford to get them for free and still have enough coins for the next battle pass since the battle pass gives you 1300 coins.

I also got that horizon skin on the first pull
