For the record I am not a Jesy hater. Just thought this performance was funny to watch and I’m not sure if she’s even serious about this one . But anyways I’m tuned in and waiting for more music from her ❤️

Believe me mixers loved Jesy once upon a time too. It's just her problematic tendencies over the years and her recent behavior and choices finally made us realize she's not the person we thought she was. The other 3 girls were protecting her a lot as well. Talent aside, the way she left should have been handled way better. It seems like she grew this bitterness towards the girls over time and just wanted an out without getting backlash for it. Everything she has done since she announced her departure has been shady and disingenuous. You don't just cut off the 3 ppl who you've shared practically everything with for 9 yrs. Something is seriously wrong with her as a person...

Totally agree. The performance was awkward. She probably thought the crowd was going to know the song and go crazy, which explains the pauses. Hopefully her future performances and songs will be better!

Agreed. If you watch the fan cams, the audience did give her love, but I think they were so confused. She sang it like it was number one in 63 countries or something. She set herself up for ridicule. I still love her and her voice though.

Jesy Stans out in full force that they can’t even see this was an awkward asf performance! Her breath control is really bad that’s why she barely sings and cannot sing the chorus because of that much choreo. When you hit Beyoncé’s level that’s fine to do but right now she has a lot to prove since she’s solo she needs to gain her own new audience and honestly it’s just not working. Hoping her next song is a ballad because she has a really nice unique voice but this whole song is a mess.

They did everything to stretch her song into a full concert, and that is a problem (one of them). Jesy is ruining it for herself, because she KNOWS how to sing and she CAN sing. AND perform! But this performance is awkward as … and Jesy’s recent behaviour over these past months isnt helping either. It’s kind of just getting worse and worse 😬

For me the intro was the awkward moment but the rest is an okay performance. Appreciated her energy for this performance and her singing live. I also think that the main reason this got a lot of negative reaction is mainly because of the controversy of her song.

The fact that ppl are seeing this as a negative video is strange! I agree if she wants to do well she's gotta sing because her voice is beautiful. But I really think she does need to rebrand and deal with the blackfishing because its not working for her or anyone else.

Yep, she isn't used to being unknown and having to win an audience. Little Mix never had much of a USA penetration. Due to 5th Harmony and the fact their songs sorta were so so. It wasn't like a density child or a TLC, SWV where you got those heartbreaking bangers. Insight intelligence. I've never even heard someone randomly singing one of the little mix songs randomly. We don't just grab them and hold it to the heart as some sorta grand insight or a "MOMENT".. that just wasn't what little mix was a group she has to introduce herself to the USA. frankly, she could easily blackfish get away with it in the UK and come back into the USA after she rebuilds her name as a solo act. putting nikki on a joint ain't what it usta be.

Jesy served stage presence but just too many pauses and tongue but I prefer choreography rather than people who bring just dry performances. She is talented and no one can take that away from her, even if the song is dry. Those verses are not it but I like the pre chorus and hook catchy. Jesy trying to be too edgy I think but I wasn't in uproar about this performance.

The opinion is divided the performance was not that bad in my opinion. The tongue was not good. Apart from that she worked the stage and showed she can hold her own.

NIGHTMARE she could’ve done a cover. Mimi Webb did an Xmas cover… it’s ridiculous having a whole dressing room and being so late on the line up for one song. Even reserves and guest performers like Ella Henderson had more!

I feel like ppl were being WAYYY to mean bout this performance! The breaks are awkward but she still did rly good for her second solo performance! 💓

The breaks were awkward, the choreo was weird at times, the crowd was lackluster and she wasn't even singing for like 60% of the performance. People come off as way too mean because they have high expectations. Jesy's not a newbie and she can genuinely sing really well. She's a talented artist but this performance just had a few too many questionable choices that made it really awkward and unenjoyable to watch. Plus, the fact that it comes off the tail end of the whole blackfishing controversy just has everyone taking the piss out of her.
