Absolutely she is the #1 idolized woman singer here in Philippines proud to be Filipino here!

Regine's longevity is incredible, it's crazy to think that every single singer that sang with her here has idolized her since childhood, and though they all have their own styles and strengths they will absolutely say that one of their biggest influence is Regine.

Regine Velasquez had set the standards high and been doing so for decades now. A lot of singers emulate her style, storytelling, pitch, dynamics, and range! Ms. Velasquez has been inspiring many! I am so happy that she is still getting the recognition and appreciation for her craft and talent. I still listen to her debut album which was released back in 1987! Regine is my all time fave. One of my former workmate is her niece.. She's not just a very good singer, but as well very accommodating and nice. Hearing them sing some of her classics gave me goosebumps.

This was Morisette's first time to sing with her ---- and as soon as Regine went up to that stage, MORISETTE WAS ALREADY SOBBING WHILE WATCHING HER SINGING FROM THE SCREEN on the left side of the stage!!! She was crying all throughout their performances and held her own when it was her turn to sing! Notice how she was still sobbing after their number together! Regine is the Philippine's answer to America's Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston and Celine Dion!
