You're probably going to get at least a few comments saying this, but Purple wasn't trying to get revenge on his dad. His dad was trying to train him to be a fighter, and he left because he thought Purple was too weak. This whole time, Purple was trying to impress his dad, to show him he was strong enough, first by getting the dragon egg. Then, he met King Orange, and began to try to impress him because he reminded him of his dad (hence why the dad was looming behind King Orange). He fixated on that goal so hard he started stepping on everyone else to get to it, and in the end King Orange betrayed him anyway. Then, at the end, Green is telling him that he *is* strong enough, and he doesn't have to try to be perfect to be a good friend (notice that he pushes away the devil AND the angel symbols). It's a really good message, actually.

people are finally realising by the way orange king was gonna share his strength with purple to help purple prove he is strong to his father but orange king betrayed purple

All Purple wanted was to get his father's approval. His father thought he was too weak so he tried to prove to him that he's not weak by getting the dragon egg and then he helped King Orange because he reminded him of his father and thus he tried to get HIS approval as an equivalent to his father's. All Purple needs is some friends who are happy with who he is and don't want him to be anything that he's not.

It was really interesting to see the different styles of music throughout the video. The animals have a sort of nursery-rhyme style to their speech, the zombies communicate through boy-band stylings of notes, and the villagers feel like something straight off of a golden-age Broadway musical

The Purple Backstory scene was very symbolic Blue wanted Purple to be a better fighter,when Purple didnt meet Blues expectations,he left Pink died at some point in Purples life since then Purple has tried to gain power,become strong,to prove Blue wrong Purple ruled over the villagers back in S1 cuz it gave Purple a taste of power,Purple took the Dragon Egg to impress Blue,buuuut u know how S1 ended,Villagers got upset,Purple got dethroned Purple at some point,met Salami King,Salami King promised Purple power,thatd theyd share the Command Block together,Purple was prepared to do anything for Salami King in the proccess,but in the end,Salami King betrayed Purple taking the power for themselves Green told Purple that they didnt have to pick between good or bad,Green told Purple that theyre willing to accept Purple no matter what,that all of thier friends are willing to accept Purple,,that Purple doesnt need to impress anyone,,thus Purple finally choosing to fight beside the Sticks

This was absolutely insane, I loved the different themes for each other characters that Green met, the fun musical number for the animals, the more jazzy melody for the zombies, and the drowned, the more upbeat and fun musical number for the villagers, the reggae melody for the llamas and the merchant, and the darker and cinematic and more orchestral melody for Purple. The backstory for Purple was heartbreaking, and I loved the Green and Purple moment near the end. This was a masterpiece, everyone who worked on this animation and for music is insanely talented! Amazing work as always, Alan never fail to amaze us! Loved your reaction to this!!

Spoilers for the viewers, but also it is a two month old video, if you haven't seen it yet, what're you doing Everything Purple ever did was to get Navy's attention, no matter who they had to throw under the bus to do so, because as far as they believed, navy was the only family they had left, abusive or not, but either it never works, or they just preemptively assume it won't work, which only makes them feel worse given all the upset people after the fact with no end result to justify it. Green's basically saying good or bad doesn't matter, they're purple's family now, purple just needs to accept that, leave Everything behind

Please read it 🥺🙏 Purple's dad was teaching purple what stick figures do, "Fight" But purple who is a child couldn't handle it. We already know Purple isn't the best fighter... Which is why his dad left in disappointment... After his mom died, Purple still wanted to get to his dad, he wanted closure with his dad thinking that's what his mom wanted. But he knows his father is waaay obove him, so he climb to the top to get better.... He ruled the villagers and grabbed the dragon egg to impress him... But it didn't work... He saw Kind Orange was already at the top near his dad's level, so he thought King Orange would promise to help him. So he did all bad things just to help Kind Orange, just to get to his dad. But after King Orange betrayed him, he was sent back to bottom where he started...... He will naver make it to his father and get closure to move on that he wanted.... Conclusion... Purple has daddy issues. Classic rich kid 😂😭

Tbh purple kinda reads like a kid/teen. He feels younger than the squad for some reason, like if the stick figures are kinda adolescents/young adults, king mango (friggin love this name lmao) is kinda older mb late 20s-30s, then purple is like a teenager and i think this makes this whole thing a lot sadder.. He literally feels like a child 😭😭

I think Purple's dad is just trying to train him to be a good fighter but his mother don't want him to get hurt that's why his dad is mad and leave them, after Purple's mother died he tried to come back to his father by showing that he is became stronger just like what his father want him to be so he used the villagers, green and blue to get the dragon egg and show it to his dad that he became stronger but he failed, again he used someone to reach his dad thats why that scene shows purple is doing parkour because thats how he convinced orange, blue, green, red and yellow to join him, they fall to purple's trap and he did what the orange king want him to do, but the orange king also betrayed him and didn't helped him, so he failed again. Sorry for my bad English
